He can channel Delta Blues greats like Robert Johnson, southern rock Allman Brothers Band, the classic bluegrass stylings of Doc Watson/Bill Monroe, and the Psychedelic Folk of Bill Nershi’s String Cheese Incident. It is not a surprise to me that he is captured their sound as he has during this global pandemic and ignited a musical paradigm that can best be described as “living in the soul of the music” of the Grateful Dead. This artist is a virtuoso in the mold of Jerry as channeled through Doc.
