One of the great cities to play is Asheville, as the frequency of the audience is universally high! We had an unexpected snow that night, so indeed, we had to bring the Cosmic Country heat to warm up the souls of everyone in attendance. "Dance In The Desert" hit a new level that night with the first reveal of its Type 2 section that was a much needed evolution for this song. The "Johnny B. Goode" encore is to the moon and back, inspired by the pocket of Bob Weir and Wolf Bros. vibe they were on at The Ryman show I had recently seen, cool and collected!
