" I have listened to this show at least 3 times now, so I feel it is time to review it. I believe I was standing right next to you Mike, me and my friend both had the new tye dye shirts on. I remember you telling us how you met Luther earlier that night. Anyways, the show does indeed sound very good, and all the songs are performed well. Chris's voice sounds a bit rough on a few songs, but it is still a very good show. My favorite song at this point is probably "Good Friday", but the acoustic songs in the middle of the show and the huge extended jam from "Downtown Money Waster" to "Thorn in my Pride" are definately great highlights as well. It was a great show to be at, and it's a great one to download and listen to repeatedly. That's enough out of me, Dan"

"This show was great, the mix sounded great and the band was dead on. I really liked how they went off into a jam in the middle of "Thorn In My Pride". "

"My wife and I were dead center on the railing in front of Chris. The Crowes were totally ON! This is the second time I've seen them and it was fantastic. They were super tight and energetic and the sound was stellar. The set list was great as they had a nice cross section of old and new and they featured the new album prominently. Highlights for me were Downtown Money Waster/Jam/Thorn in my Pride. My wife is new to the Crowes and she was totally blown away. She really loved it. A funny blooper from the night was the vocal intro to Whoa Mule when one of the guys was singing in the wrong key. It was hilarious and the Crowes laughed it off. The look on their faces was priceless as they were trying to figure out who was off. They just rolled with it and the song was absolutely beautiful. (I actually have this snippet on video and it's pretty funny to watch.) On another note...we arrived fairly early to the show and walked by the Crowes' bus. There was a guy sitting out front, relaxing in the sun and ansering his voice mail, texting, etc. I walked by and sure enough, it was Luther Dickinson. I'm a lifelong guitarist and Luther is a recent influence. He was very friendly and very appreciative of us fans. I would've taken a picture, but I didn't want to be a pest. Anyway, this recording is very clear and the playing is spot-on. This is a great download...well worth it. To the Black Crowes - Thanks for doing what you do. Peace and best wishes to all of you!
