"The setlist doesn’t do this show justice. The sound was excellent (Luther was a little low in the mix), the theatre in the casino was cool (for some reason I was reluctant about the whole casino show thing), drinks were easy to get and Chris sounded excellent. Yes there was quite a "Play She Talks To Angels!!%$#$%" crowd, but overall a solid, solid evening. Grade: A- More importantly…to the setlist. MOTDL opener with extended jam-very cool. Jealous Again-standard, though this got the crowd ancious for more Nebakanezer-very cool bordering on excellent and the band started rockin'!! Cosmic Friend-better than expected and the crowd really seemed to like it, Rich's riff is groovy, miss Eddie on this one. Evergreen-excellent as overall it rocked and I wanted more off Warpaint. Girl From A Pawnshop- very cool, I love this song-brings me back to '96. She Gave Good Sunflower-cool/average, the crowd seemed to enjoy it Wee Who See The Deep-This is where things get interesting, the next four songs blended together in a swirl of sound and trading leads between Luther and Rich. Chris laid down some cool guitar in WWSTD (honestly). While not quite a medley, the WWSTD->TIMP->Ballad->Wiser run could be legendary as a united whole. Got the Gorman drum solo in TIMP-he is heavy with the sticks. Sven is certainly the most underrated member of the band. Very fluid on the neck, good background vocals and has a great vibe. The band stretched out and had fun- a lot of interplay between Luther, Chris and Sven. I like the shorter TIMP's and Wiser's though this was cool. People actually moved a little. A lot of Ballad and Wiser's have been played, this was fresh and this four-song run was about an hour long-wow! Thorn In My Pride. Ballad In Urgency. Wiser Time. Remedy-standard set closer, a let down after the previous jam session. A rocker though. - Encore - Goodbye Daughters Of The Revolution-so psyched to hear this live. Much better than the single and the crowd seemed pumped Ohio (1st time played)-this was SICK. Find a recording!! Chris was wailin' "How Many More" and dare I say it was spine-tingling. Very rockin' version and sure to be played again as the crowd went crazy. People were mesmerized at the opening riff to this song Quick comments to myself that night: -Sven and Gorman are sick together!!!! -Gorman is the foundation of that band. GORMAN STRENGTH!!, if you know what I am saying. -Love Mona Lisa and Charity- not enough of them on Warpaint. -Adam can play and seems to be having fun. Chris and him have a connection on stage. -Luther is, well, kind of an odd fit. I loved some things he did and thought some was average. Maybe it was the mix or a speaker issue (I was 8th row in front of Rich/Adam). Love NMA (see them if you can-solid band) and Luther is great, I just didn’t feel the power, the jams should get better and his work on Warpaint is strong -All venues with seats need to set aside some dancing areas -Chris said very few words, just the occasional "Thank you" -No real "Rich" song -Warpaint songs acquaint themselves well live -Note to self (and others)-scratch and save your dollars and see them as many times as you can this summer/fall -I have driven over 12 hours to see these guys and the show was 10 minutes from my house-friggin awesome!! -No comment on the BCRS Live Recoding available-I haven't heard it yet. PEACE AND SEE YOU ON DOWN THE LINE... Charlie- Norman, Oklahoma"

"Evergreen is Rockin'! Plus, we get the first time ever played "Ohio" and it is GREAT! 2008 is turning out to be a solid year already. This new line-up is mixing we together. I cannot wait to hear more! Thank You Crowes!"
