"Really, this show sounds awesome in the car as well as on my home rig which has the advantage of dbx processing. Sure, there are some sub-par recordings, but for the most part LiveCrowes gives us what we need - the best rock n roll on the planet! May the hiatus be not too long..."

"Can you guys who think this recording sounds bad go into detail about what you think doesn't sound good? It may be a matter of taste, because I think this is one of the better sounding Crowes recordings from the past few years on this site. To me, it sounds like a crisp SBD with very little AUD/room ambience, which I like. I know some people prefer more of matrix mix with some AUD mixed in. As far as the mix of instruments, Rich is actually too low in the mix (its usually the opposite, to my ears) during the start of the electric set, but the mix improves otherwise. They keyboards and backing vocals are quite loud during Feelin' Alright, but again that improves as the recording goes on. I have no issues with the first set sound quality. Interested to hear what you have to say."

"I'd love to hear this in flac but I have been burned more than once by Crowes DL and as such I will not buy any more of them. Every other band I buy on this site is crystal clear and the Crowes always sound like shit. Love this band and will miss them but not wasting any more money on their downloads."

"I have seen the Crowes 5 times at The Pageant in St. Louis, great venue for a great band. This was the best of them all! As others here have noted, the setlist was truly wonderful. I'll miss TBC due their "hiatus" but what a sendoff for their fans. Thank you Black Crowes for 20 great rocking years. I own the CDs from this show and think the sound quality is just fine. Like the other poster said, this concert is best enjoyed on CD over a solid stereo system."

"Great show, but the sound quality is absolutely terrible. This unfortunately seems to be a common issue with these BC soundboards, as I have downloaded other shows from the same tour that sound just as bad. Trust me, it has nothing to do with MP3s vs. CDs as another reviewer suggests. I buy plenty of live music from the people that run this site, and the sound quality here doesn't even come close to some of the other bands that the good folks at livedownloads.com handle. Go download an Umphrey's show, you will be blown away by the difference in quality."
