"You know the band is tight when even the back ground singers (who have seen EVERY show) are clapping in approval during the band's performance. So was the case during Driving Wheel, 44 Blues, and Show Me by the Black Crowes in Wichita, KS. The Cotillion is a great place to catch a show, one can be sitting in the back or get as close as they want and we're all one big happy family. Chris set the tone early buy saying "This (Hook 'em Horns sign, index and pinkie finger extended) means nothing. THIS (peace sign) means everything. I think the new songs are real gems. To tell a story like Josephine or Locus Street, to sing along with like Move It on Down the Line or Wounded Bird the R&R brothers have a great talent in song writing. Luther was smokin' on the guitar. He brought the soul. Chris, as we all know has a gift with that voice. He blew me away with Sister Luck. They are the real deal. No smoke (well maybe a little smoke) and mirrors, just real euphoria. Catch them if you can. Thanks for stopping in Wichita, and "let it all ride"."

"I waited 18 years to finally see these guys live. WELL WORTH THE WAIT. I have purchased the CD of the Wichita show and will gladly add it to my "most listened to" stack and will pass it on to my children. I will not wait that long again to see The Crowes. Thanks for stopping in little old Wichita."

"Great show with the BC in fine form. The unfortunate thing was that a decent cross section of the audience was there to hear "the hits", of which only 'Remedy' was played. I couldn't have been happier that the others were left out. An amazing, almost tear-jerking 'Driving Wheel' made an appearance and Steve brought out the big bass drum for 'God's Got It'. The set leaned heavily on the new record but what else would you expect? Great venue (dig Chris' spaceship references) and great sound in the hall. Luther tears off a slide solo during 'Show Me' (or was it 'Wounded Bird'?, my minds a little fuzzy...imagine that) that was worth the price of admission."
