"Being at the Palais and getting that rush of adrenalin when the lights went down and then feeling the room fill with such rich warmth of sound, I was disappointed that this was not translated to the so-called "recording". Having no presence or life, this recording falls short drastically when it comes to trying to relive the experience of being there on the night listening to an unrivalled groove band. Next time I will hold my mobile and stand in the gents to get a better recording. Thanks for the tawdry effort nugs! "

"Having recently purchased the Palais gig I was most heartbroken at the sound quality - simply awful. Having attended the gig and being impressed with the awesome full sound of the band on the night it's most disapponiting that this doesn't translate to the download. Rich and Luther are barely audible throughout the mix whilst Steve and Adam are up way too high leaving Chris's vocals often exposed. The Black Crowes live are a formidable presence and this simply doesn't do them justice. On the night all the players fitted together seamlessly with the soloing on Wiser Time being the stand out. However the download reproduces none of this magic. Sorry guys but you're dudding the fans with these "recordings", the Instant Live gear was much better and far closer to the live experience than this rubbish. "
