The album features 14 tracks from projects produced by David Grisman featuring Jethro Burns, Stephane Grappelli, Andy Statman, Martin Taylor, Frank Vignola and other celebrated names in jazz.

This collection includes a previously unissued take of Sonny Rollins' classic "Pent-Up House" by David Grisman and Denny Zeitlin as well as Django Reinhardt’s masterpiece “Manoir De Mes Reves by Frank Vignola. Hi-Def Jazz is a sonically superior treat for jazz fans — noticeably richer and closer to the sound of the original analog masters than CD versions.
