Show Notes
Travis dressed as a bloody mad surgeon, I opted for "V" for Vendetta. That mask and cape lasted about 15 minutes on me before I had to take it off. Definitely sweat fest at some point.
EZ Brothers from Kansas city opened with some great dubstep tracks.
It felt like a solid flow on our end from start to finish. I teased Peter Gabriel's "Red Rain", Olatunji's "Jin Go Lo Ba", and Wierd Al's "Like a Surgeon". Travis worked in the Halloween theme and we got extra spooky at times.
Cicada Rhythm production has really been dedicated to bringing electronic acts to Lawrence. You can feel that the people there are informed on all aspects of different electronic styles. Whenever we hit a new vibe, they were right there with us.
It was sorta one of those nights where I don't remember the particulars but it felt really good throughout. Thing 2, nurses, zombies, chickens, and Vampires were present. Lawrence Kansas on Halloween is epic.

"2nd year in a row i've been wearing a costume to EOTO in Lawrence, KS! They played around Halloween in 07' and tore it up, then moved it from the smaller Jackpot to the Bottleneck, and it was packed full of people just bouncing in costumes! They busted out the Halloween movie theme and the few minutes of cannabis pictures flashing on the background were awesome as well! Hann had his mask off in a few minutes cuz he was pumpin' that beat so fast he was sweating profusely. Fat fat show, we went to the after-party with the EZBrothers and what a good vibe those guys had for setting the opening tone. Great Show!"
