Arguably the most popular and highly regarded track by King Crimson fans, the appearance of Starless on a British stage comes with an added poignancy. While American audiences heard the track performed in the 1970s this was a pleasure denied UK and European fans when the band ‘ceased to exist forever’ in 1974. Such is the power and popularity of this track it was common to see tears streaming down the faces of many fans after seeing it played.
