This was an epic homecoming show for us after a year of intense touring that had us criss-crossing the US, Canada and Europe, including an arena tour supporting the Lumineers for 18 shows. After much pleading from Marshall, we cancelled the show the night before in Charlottesville because we needed this one to be as strong as possible- absolutely the right call! And we left town again 3 days later to finish the year- around 180 shows on the road in 2017! And we made it up to Charlottesville not long after. This show was the first time The Royal American attempted a parking lot show, and the largest crowd they had ever had.
