"this show was nuts. never seen so many good vibes in one room. i missed the first two songs, but thats what this is for. of all the wu i`ve seen, WYE04 has been the best, by far. dean and jason were both on fire, all night, no questions. the crowd was going crazy with the glowsticks, and everybody was having a blast. btw, the dvd released at the show is also sweet, get a copy of that too if you can."

"Jason is introduced at the begining of the second set, and crazyness inssues. When i stepped in at the show, they had already got half way into Midnight Rudy and i turned to a guy next to me and asked who this guy was, he responded "Thats Jason, the guy who makes the Big Wu the Wu." i can see he was right. After a great midnight rudy they slip into a Pinnacle played like it was the gospel. Dancing with Lula starts off with an incredibly funky (yet short) keyboard solo from Alan. Jason passes the tourch to Dean Mcgraw at midnight and the Wu start into a crazy set of 80s covers mostly. Deans guitar was perfect for the Van Halen tunes. As the night wore down and we all got alittle tired, the Wu covers "Take the Long way home" which at the time was the perfect song to play, it just fits perfectly belive me. They encore starts with a great spontanious rap then hits Rock n Roll. The night was capped perfectly and left all of us drained of all energy in a beautiful way. The night gets two thumbs way up, totally rocked my new years eve. Thanks Wu!"

"It was a party from start to finish! Sold out and blissed out crowd, many friends new and old, past and present, on stage and off. Set one started fine with RIR to get warmed up, next a slow-and-slinky Sil got us ready for Jazz 88, a nice call (early in the show for my taste, but a great version) Al`s pedal steel solo reminding me of Steve Howe from Yes (did you notice the set break music was Yes?), slow down for Black Rain which morphed into 80`s classic (and theme-set hint) Steppin` Out by Joe Jackson and then back into finish Black Rain. A nice Steppin` Out sandwich on Black Rain bread. Andy gives us cheers to Summit beer? What about Old Style? Next up something new for the Wu: writing new Wu music for already penned original lyrics from Robert Hunter for tune "Kick in the Head." Andy up next with Got Me on a String, which already feels like an "Andy" tune if you know what I mean. A slow Puerto Rico which made me recognize how hot it really was in that room. Dogs Dead rounded off the set solid, funky, and left me wanting more, but alas, nope, next was the set break. Someone wanna take the 2nd set with Jason?"
