"I wasn`t sure how to get corrospondance to the band simply because I`m not as much of a fan as I am music lover. So, as accuratley as I can explain it despite the bad spelling, I just had to share my feelings concerning this music. On the cusp of being on this planet for 50 yrs and of being first exposed to the Almond Bro`s, Jimmy Hendrix , Yes and E.L.P. I`ve feel I`ve always been destined or groomed if you will, for the jam band scene. There just wasn`t a word for it back then. Anyway, after going through the withdrawl of the eventual demise of The Grateful Dead, Blues Traveler, Phish etc. and finding comfort with Moe, The Big Wu, etc. I don`t think I was prepared for the experience that I was in for when I went to my first UM show in 2005 at the Egyptian Room in Indy. Up `till then all I had heard what was played on fm, like Chicago. I bought the Disc set for the show and that plus the podcasts I`ve downloaded since has pretty much been what I tell my friends and family, has been pretty much been the soundtrack to my life in the past 2yrs. Like someone might relate a song from Sat`r night live to an event in their life. So that`s it! I`m a slightly younger "Boomer" that has found pleasure and comfort in the music you obviously go to great lengths to make everyone enjoy. Thankyou is an easy word to use but doesn`t cover what your music has meant to me and I`m sure countless others. "

"This also was my first show. Never having even listened to UM before when a friend suggested I check them out. I purchased the show and those were the only cd`s in my truck for three months. Now I have about a gig`s worth of PODcasts` downloaded. Now I`m spreading the word. See you in April! "

"I can`t believe nobody has reviewed this... This was my first umphreys show and IT WAS AMAZING! Layla was exquisite, favorite triple wide to this day after about idk 6 other versions i`ve heard... they teased "don`t fear the reaper" which opened an Indianapolis inside-joke with the band. AWESOME SHOW!"
