"Took a phriend to his first show. I had set high expectations as I’ve been loving them live for a few years now and he’s been following the hype and recorded live treasures. Set one started slow for me and built steadily. The slower songs allowed me to appreciate their lyrics and maturity in warming up to the shredding face melters. I particularly enjoyed the sentimental No California and Give It Time. Both me to shed a few tears. Set one closed strong, hinting that Set 2 would bring the heat. Eminence Front was a nasty opener, stuck in your head until the Encore of Hot Tea. What happened between was your classic Goose Set 2magic."
