"that transition from linus and lucy to yeti was the best ever"

Coat Check Clerk 3/26/2022 2:44:12 PM

"Man that rockdale is a heater"

Phan_Halen 3/12/2022 7:17:42 PM

"A big night for the band with their first arena show but as they say Super Bowl’s aren’t always the best game. C /B-"

Joe 3/9/2022 3:18:30 AM

"This was my first show and I am forever changed!!! Loved it"

Tony in KCMO 3/6/2022 2:39:58 PM

"This show is a new high mark for this wonderfully talented band."

Charlie Francis 3/3/2022 10:49:59 AM

"I can’t get enough of that Hungersite > Celebration Jam!!! It’s becoming My favorite Goose show!!"

Izziefizz 3/3/2022 7:17:35 AM

"Amazing three sets. First set was some classic goose with your Yeti and a fantastic Echo. Second set showed some newer things they’ve been working on with a great Red Bird, fun Rockdale, and one of the better Empress I’ve heard. Sinnerman cover was dope too. Third set was all new music and was just on point. Glad to hear so much newer stuff because I can only hear the old stuff so many times before wanting something different, and these sets showed where Goose has been, what they’ve been up to, and where they are going. Was so happy with all three sets. Then an Arcadia encore to keep everyone happy. Plus I feel like they finally turned Jeff up as I could hear him so much more. Sound was great on the floor. Gooooooooooose! "

"Dripfield. Holy shit. That’s it that’s the review. "

Scootereater 3/2/2022 5:47:47 AM

"ALL HEATERS, NO SLEEPERS"

Mon Goose 3/2/2022 5:34:54 AM

"That Dripfield though. Nothing bitter to say from this sinner man..goose can do no wrong for mon goose"

Austin 3/2/2022 5:00:51 AM

"Too many jaded fans commenting! This show is great, well rounded, lots of yams, and a next-level show. Band is evolving and it is apparent with this show. Bravo Goose! Excited for the future of Goose!"

Next-Level 3/1/2022 5:11:55 PM

"So many clues negative takes in these reviews. Goose is evolving. The new material is fantastic. Highlights of this show for me were all new songs in 2022. Atlas Dogs is beautiful. Silver Rising is some epic songwriting and dialed-in indie Goose. Red Bird soars. The 3rd set Dripfield suite crushed. Some people just fear change, I suppose. This shows fucks."

Connor 3/1/2022 3:50:37 PM

"I thought it was a great show they definitely switched things up a bit, Borne and Dripfield surprised me I had a feeling they would play them and it was cool live not sure why everyone’s complaining about this show I really felt that they kept things tighter and didn’t drag out jams too much and I wasn’t mad about it, I had a blast definitely one for the books"

Big Ern 3/1/2022 2:43:19 PM

"This was my 10th Goose show and probably my least favorite musically. Honestly found some of it just boring. Atlas dogs just isn't that great. The third set had its moments for sure. But it was the first time I was ready for them to be done. There's going to be an off night every once in awhile.... Seeing them again in Charlotte and can't wait."

BigWoolySamson 3/1/2022 1:54:35 PM

"I have listened to the 3rd set almost continuously since this show has been posted. I’m blown away. "

Dripfield 3/1/2022 9:56:44 AM

"Absolute party!! Loved the song selections and the pacing. Goose always keeps you guessing. Sound was tight, light show was spectacular!!! Highlight was the third set!!! Great job"

?? 3/1/2022 9:27:26 AM

"I honestly hope they take some constructive criticism from this show. I would say 6/10 stars. Not a bad show, but maybe it’s the songs from this newer album I’m not jiving with. Seems to be a slow set and bigger venue that maybe brought some new challenges. Will see how this next spring run goes! "

Paulie 3/1/2022 7:25:09 AM

"Below. The pause for applause is referring to Empress, I realize my thoughts weren't clarified there. See you all at the 930!"

Paulie 3/1/2022 7:23:02 AM

"I have to agree with John; I had fun, and enjoyed seeing my friends, but this was far and wide the least exciting Goose show I've been to, musically speaking. Sound was a bit underpar and I think it had a lot to do with size of the venue. Definetely not an A+ night for execution; Linus was nostalgic, and Yeti was fun. Fast Echo arrangement is fun to hear at that pace, but just ok. the pause for applause felt a bit egoic and reaching for the actual energy at the moment, there were a few very meandering jams that never seemed to take flight, or were overexecuted so early to the point where they were no longer welcome by their end... The 'transition' into Rosewood out of Redbird was almost completely dissolved and muddled. Rosewood is such an excellent composition on it's own...I feel like if they're not actually going to jam into the next composition, I'd rather hear it finish strong... Again the sound was just not well structured for the venue and some of this new material is just very under calibre for them musically, imvho. They're nothing remotely close to the calibre of tunes delivered last Goosemas... Set 3 just felt like I was in slow motion, and felt like a different band completely with respects to emphasis and musical approach than the band I saw @ Fred. I just felt like they were playing around eachother at points. Opinions on the new material aside, it was an off night; I've seen this band play MUCH much better, and very much look forward to that again. Maybe Ben was just nervous about the proposal. Hoping DC redeems this one. ?? "

PhishSux 3/1/2022 6:31:15 AM

"Fun show 3rd set was about 20 minutes too short for my liking, could have split up the slow jams at the end as well and it would have been more impactful"

B-Train 2/28/2022 11:09:56 PM

"Stop playing so ready. Play SLOW ready. The slower pacing fits the song much better."

@ninobrownbaby 2/28/2022 10:20:24 PM

"Quite the dance party!"

Panicman 2/28/2022 6:35:50 PM

"This show doesn’t sound as good as other Goose shows on Nug’s. I watched the stream and the boys didn’t seem to be firing on all cylinders. "

kelwing 2/28/2022 5:38:54 PM

"really loved the show! set 3 was absolutely beautiful. to hear dripfield live FTP was such a treat. been waiting 2 years to hear arcadia live and it was quite a heater!! love love love the direction goose is going towards. i look forward to hearing more like this show. i agree with what was mentioned earlier - this experimental set list was super fun and each song was unexpected. really kept us on edge all night! had a blast, keep it coming!! "

Staaaaaaaaaan 2/28/2022 5:32:02 PM

"I was very disappointed when it was rescheduled as I was unable to make it last night. With that being said, i fucking love this band. I thought there were good highs in each set, and the third set was a great way to get a taste of the new album. Personally, the set two Rockdale into Red Bird > Rosewood Heart was the highlight for me. Sad I have to wait until Red Rocks to see them next, but can't wait to see where they'll be at that point! "

Good show, not great. 2/28/2022 5:27:09 PM

"I was there - this show was a watershed moment from the band, what an experimental playlist. That being said…far from their best show or the best show I’ve been to, it wasn’t a “best of” night for them, they still need to figure out their arena sound. Dripfield is great, so is the Rockdale. Give this show a listen for sure, but for the people below saying this was a life changing show or whatever…well I want some of whatever they took Saturday night."

Rich 2/28/2022 3:33:13 PM

"This show was unbelievable. Fantastic performance. Three FTP that all delivered, and the first time with tbe reworked Silver Rising vocal arrangement alone make it a must, but from someone lucky enough to have been there- everything was great."

John 2/28/2022 3:27:07 PM

"I take back what I said earlier, I was just mad bc my small pecker kept distracting me from the show, it was really a great show now that I can listen to it with a boner"

^^^^^^^^^ 2/28/2022 2:56:57 PM

"I didn’t mean that I actually agree with John, Linus and Lucy was fun though "

Jared 2/28/2022 2:55:14 PM

"Definitive turn for the band - bigger venue and bigger sound. Really enjoyed set 3 and the atmospheric jams "
