"Was living in Covington during this time and this festival was just down the street from our apartment—had no idea it was happening and stumbled upon it while driving home. Wife and I took a walk over for a couple beers at Braxton. Wasn’t big into the jam scene then, so when the boys hit the stage and starting getting spacey, we decided to leave. Fast forward a few years later, I finally “got” into the scene—“it just clicked one day!”—and discovered Goose. Been making my way through back catalog of shows and see this one. Fucking BLEW ME AWAY!! Absolutely kicking “past me” in the ass for dipping out on one of the better sets the boys ripped during this era—as well as the bunch of shows they ripped at the Madison Theater during my time in that town. So close, but so far. I guess it wasn’t my time then, but thanking the gods I eventually saw the light and have the ability to go back and experience those sets!"

"5.5 years after I first heard of Goose, this is still my favorite show, played frequently. I just love the general tone of the music, and the jams are smooth and perfect. "

"This was my first in person show, but I had been jamming for months on the Octave shows and some others. I was super excited. They opened for the Stringdusters and I remember maybe 20-25 people showed up early for Goose. I was blown away that more people weren’t there. Regardless of the sparse crowd, the band did not disappoint.. 2 tickets was appropriately timed, Front was an awesome surprise.. all kinds of hot jams in between, Rick’s playing wasn’t handicapped even though he couldn’t stand..warm, sunny calm day.. great first time experiencing legend in the making"
