"Solid attempt, but completely butchered it. "

"As an avid disco biscuits fan and longtime casual admirer of Lotus, I very much enjoyed this collaboration. I was happy with the fact that Barber learned a wide array of Lotus songs and that he was able to put his own spin on them. He generally respected the composure while adding his own spin (very fun, barber styled jams). He did miss some notes, but that’s Barber for ya. He plays on feel and keeps you on your toes. I wouldn’t blame hardcore Lotus fans for disliking the results of having this wild animal set loose in their house. I think it was good for both Barber and Lotus to do something different and I would most definitely see this collaboration again."

"Not a very well executed attempt at "something new". The guests (Barber) timing, tone, and lackluster sense of attention did not fit well into the Lotus formula at all. Almost ALL main guitar notes were missed and most "signals" from Greenfield we're ignored completely."

"Barbers lotus (Jonny boy from the biscuits) definitely different from your average lotus set but the band seems to dig the dynamic with barber. "
