"Obviously a novice, I was expecting more of the sound from Bottom Half and played songs en route to show for newbie guests I'd invited. Great sounds, strong show but not at all what I was expecting (where are the horns?) so that took the bloom off somewhat. I know better now and will go again w/ new expectations."

"this show was great start to finish. UM has really stepped up their game. which is hard to do since they were already great. I have seen every UM show in Dallas since 2005. this one may not be on top, but, it's definitely up there"

"This show was incredible. And I completely disagree as well, I thought they came out and got right down to business. Waful pulled out all the stops and when they gave us that Buffalo Springfield teaser, I got goosebumps. Jake literally "Slid" into that and just based on their faces, you knew they were feelin' good. So happy they pulled out 40s Theme Encore, but was expecting one more song after that. Oh well, either way I know by the time the show was over I was completely exhausted and I think my brains were splashed all over the wall."

"i have to disagree, i felt they came out swinging in the first set and it looked like they would bring the heat in the second set but it felt like they were holding back. the first set was one of the strongest sets ive seen with um. this first set and the late night show at wakarusa '10 were some of my favorites"

"Show started a bit slow but that second set blew me away. The cover of Steely Dan's Peg was perfect, of course us old guys were the only ones dancing! Can't wait to see them at Hangout in a few weeks."
