"His name was Mikey. You must be talking about the mouse. Great time at the fox. Not the same but as the last time i saw them there but the show was a blast."

"What a three night stand to bring the boys back to the road!!!! I miss Mickey alot, but George has more than made up for that missing piece of the puzzle. He smokes!!! Love the Wrangler/Pigeons, Pieces, and the wonderful Pilgrims. All on my wish list for the Dallas & Tulsa shows! It`s GREAT to have one of my favorite bands back in action after a well neeeded vacation. They`re on fire, just like when I saw my first shows in 1990 (Dallas). WELCOME BACK!!!!!!! See you in Dallas and Tulsa."

"Both Sets Open super stong, and don`t let up. Disco was HOT, and the WranglerPigeons let you know they meant business and the energy goes through until the last note. Great Show."

"Widespread Panic is something I have cherished dear to my heart since the first time I heard them. They possess masterful improvisational talent. I am a believer in the cause, the cause of listening to some rock and roll, and kicking back. See you on tour! Always SATISFIED! "

"where the hell is my last posting? Are you the freak`in thought police! I did`nt even George bash, welcome to WSP 1984 Orwellian version. Just to add something to my last Gonzo review; if you need someone to help with setlist selection - call me!!!!!!!"

"I`ll be wompin` up some heads for us all to achieve spiritual justice for George, he has got bust it bigger balls than all the critics/cynics. He missed a few notes at the Fox, but he is a differrent player, and continues to evolve. He has a hard job(although I`d trade podiatry for it). He has got tons of stupid pressure on him(from what I read), but he needs to forget idiots and and keep grinding. Mikey will never be forgotten, but George will fill ,and eventually expand, that space one day with his unique style. He is torn between straight covering and throwing out own sound. He has`nt been playing w boys long enough to pass all the tests or to compltely find groove. THANK GOD IN HEAVEN THAT THEY DID`NT QUIT. IF THEY DO, I`LL PERSONALLY KICK SOMEONE`S ASS ; DON`T KNOW WHO`S YET, BUT SHALL TOUCH ON A FEW HANDS , OR PERHAPS EVEN GET A MIND TO BEAT SOMEONE SENSLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!( WHY, JB, DID YOU CONTRADICTARILY CHANGE LYRICS MSTM , THEN TALK BOUT BEATING PERSON SENSLESS) SOMEONE JUST KIDDING; GEORGE, YOU PROBABLY DON`T NEED A DAZED FOOL TO TELL U B/C I`M SURE U KNOW , BUT YOU KICK ASS. I WILL NOT STAND FOR UNFAIR, STORT SIGHTED AND/OR MALICIOUSNESS TOWARDS YOU AS PLAYER OR PERSONAGE, AND AGAIN WILL EXCERCISE VIOLENCE IN ORDER TO MAKE SURE U GOOD PEOPLE DON`T DON`T GET SIDETRACKED INTO IDIOTIC SOUR ATTITUDES. JOJO, I KNOW U KNOW WHAT`S UP, AND SO OBVIOUSLY TOO JB. BUT IF I HEAR OF INTERNAL STRIFE, AGAIN I SHALT RESORT TO VIOLENCE, EVEN AT RISK OF BEING "SAT" ON. ONLY WEAK BRAINS AND NARROW MINDS MINDLESSLY OVERLY CRITICIZE. I , OF COURSE WOULD NEVER USE VIOLENCE, JUST TRYING TO BE FUNNY WITH EYES HALF SHUT OR CROSS-EYED AND BLIND. YOU ARE STILL THE BEST BAND EVER; YES, EVEN THE DEAD FOR A SOUTHERN MAN LIKE ME. P.S. HOW BOUT DBTRUCKERS OPEN AT SOME PT FOR YOU, RECENTLY EMERSED INTO THEIRMUSIC, BIG MUTUAL BENEFIT IF THEY WILLING TO DO IT. DO NOT ERASE PLS, THIS TOOK LONG TIME TO WRITE FOR HALF ASLEEP IN PEACE FROG PAJAMAS TO WRITE, U KNOW DAT I RIGHT, LOVE, UR LOYAL SPREADICATED FAN. PLS DON`T PHISH OUT. HEY, AND DON`T BLAME ME- I VOTED FOR JOJO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "

"An incredible gift of music (once again) from nugs.net - one of the saviors of webmusic, and the messiah-like return of WSP couldn`t be more timely. Funny mix of tunes, new old and extremely familiar, with GM`s mad guitar, JoJo`s licks, Schoolbombs and JB`s pipes & rhythm jumping out of my speakers, which don`t do justice to Todd & Sunny. Boys are rusty here and there, but tasty everywhere. I know they`ll blossom and progress from show to show (as they did in 03) until we meet again in NYC. For all of you debaters, George-haters, and believers that Mikey is second to only the Creator, I point you to the wise words the Houser family, still posted on the WSP website: Michael would be absolutely devastated if the band did not continue as Widespread Panic. He, and all of them, have worked for 20 years to make it what it is today. They have a history, a legacy, and a loyal fan following that will stick with them through this transition. We wish the best for the entire Widespread Panic family - the band, the music and the fans - and look forward to great shows for many more years. As Mikey would say, "We hope to see you there." "

"Always great to get high quality panic, especially so soon after the show. And Baylor, you`re an idiot; the New Years `98 show was broadcast on the radio and it`s top-shelf."

    Smokestack Lightining 3/31/2005 8:58:37 PM

"Widespread Panic truly is a class act. What other band has endured so much but comes back stronger? What other band can give so much to the fans, the family and the music? I really enjoy the new songs and new but familiar sound. I have been listening to these shows since Monday, and I am still as excited as a little schoolgirl with each listen. Thank you George. You have been put in such a difficult position, and continue to progress beautifully. JB singing TPOT breaks my heart. Jojo is on fire and that menacing time machine of DAS, Todd and Sunny keeps thundering along. I applaud you all for creating music that touches the soul like nothing I have ever heard. Thank you all once again for reminding me why you are my all time favorite band. See you real soon."

"Great show in Chattanooga. Keep up the good work. Can`t wait for the upcoming shows."

    Baylor 3/30/2005 11:16:35 AM

"Please keep the mainstream radio out of our PANIC. Without exception, when the radio gets involved, the boys play down to the lowest common denominator. The first set (except for the Disco>Surprise opener) was weak at best. Boo Radio Boo. It reminds me of all the wrangler>Walkin in the mid 90`s. "

Rob from Marietta 3/30/2005 11:10:04 AM

    "CANT WAIT UNTIL COLUMBUS!!!!!"

    brian 3/30/2005 5:34:07 AM

"Wow. people are going to call me crazy. but i think there are some good things about this version that were not present during the mikey years. Now Id never speak blasphemy, but especially after hearing these shows you hear a much sparser band. The playing is more point counterpoint and I think it will help the band evolve. For those that say George butchers, youre entitled to your opinion. But then Id have to be of the opinion that you dont know what your talking about. Thanks for the freebies boys Its great to have u back "

    Mikey C. 3/29/2005 8:06:51 PM

"Awesome!! Panic has once again proved beyond a shadow of a doubt to all that they will endure the test of time!! Very incredible how JB and the boys have come back to a sound eeirly similar of their early days in the 90s!! George just might be the new "secret weapon" very soon in Panicdom`s beautiful history of incredible, mind-blowing, earth-shattering jams from the beyond!!"

    RabbiDawg 3/29/2005 6:41:06 PM

"having you boys back makes more people happy than you can realize. We all miss Mikey, but George is doin one helluva job. Dave is still droppin bombs and hearin JB sing TPOT gave me chillbumps. Thanks for the free downloads, keep it rockin, and long live the PANIC. Go Dawgs."

The Jake Man 3/29/2005 6:36:08 PM

"Look, all im sayin is he isnt Panic, hes not, yeah George can play a mean acoustic guitar and yeah he can play mean Beanland stuff, but hes no Mikey, and he doesnt play like Mikey and he butchers old Panic, like it or not its a fact. i do give a big thanks to the boys for the soundboards, im just givin my 2 cents"

    JJ 3/29/2005 3:25:39 PM
