"My highlights include Giants, Frog Gossip, Bee Jam, To the Nest through Anyone.  Out of the 4 steamboat shows, this one was the most engaging/interesting to me. Of all the Red songs that could come back, Comfortable was always the most likely to me, and I'm thrilled it's back.  And it sounds really, really good.  Classy move shelving his (lead vocal, original) songs for 2023.  They did, however, play Broken Phone Booth twice with Brian singing Red's parts, and that worked, too (check out the 1/31/23 version if you haven't - great jam). First jam highlight comes in Giants (ol' faithful).  A patient, delicate jam forms, and breaks down to a near standstill before building back up into a rousing and melodic peak. I'm on team "Play the Waltz more often."  That is all. A spirited and firey version of Frog Gossip closes out set 1.  Be sure to give this one a spin. Bee Jam is filthy.  My favorite jam of the show. LTLO, still sounds like it's a different key, but do I really care at this point?  Nah.  This version features a particularly dynamic first AND second half, each for different reasons.   While the other shows of this run have been good-to-great, this show's music was the most engaging/interesting to me to me. To the Nest makes a rare appearance and features some of the more inspired playing I can recall from this song.  Simple Mysteries will never not give me goosebumps.  What a gorgeous two songs these are - musically and lyrically.  Brilliant segue to take SM dissonance and turn it into the opening build of Anyone. Top to bottom fantastic show. "
