"Cold Rain and Snow jam in Can’t Get You Out of My Head??"

"Am I heard Cold Rain and Snow for the last 5-6 minutes of Can't Get You Out of My Head?"

"Musically it was what we at coming to expect from these amazing musicians. The 2 new tunes in the first set slapped pretty hard with some evil goose hitting during Big Modern. Setlist was well thought out and catered to the crowd on hand. This being said, I have to agree with the other reviewer who brought up the weird vibe. WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE WATCHING FOOTBALL ON THEIR PHONES DURING THE SHOW!!!! It was very distracting and as the night went on, the drunk frat boys and sorority girls got a bit too chatty for my taste. My second show at this venue and I hope it is the last time they play there. Bring on Orion please. Bham has always had a weird show vibe. "

"Just when I thought set one couldn’t get any better, set two came and hit hard"

"Great vibes at the Dale. Seemed to be more crowd energy than what I felt in Nashville a few nights earlier. Loved the music. Solid improves all night. The band is making a big mistake if they don’t play the amphitheater in Tuscaloosa in 2025. Those college kids would love it. So would I. "

"Big Modern, Drive and Rockdale were scorchers. One of the best shows I’ve seen. Better one to couch tour though as it was WAY oversold. Didn’t love all the frat boys watching football on their phones"

"Probably attendance bias, but as soon as I thought set one couldn’t get any better… Set two blew my socks off"

"I fell in love with AUATC this night, such a beautiful song. Jive got the place bouncing and Turned Clouds has become such a great sing along. 2nd set got realllly drippy from creatures on and Thatch was a killer encore. Feels like Goose has outgrown this venue though, wife and I are back of the crowd folks and like a little space but the only space to be found when we got there was way back between the bar and portapotties. That part didn't bother me but the stage angles away from that area so the volume didn't seem loud enough so it was hard to tune out all the college age talkers saying things like slaaaayyyy. I'd do it again in a heartbeat but prefer a larger venue for them. Agree with above poster, Eggy after show was amazing, that place is trippy."

"Another heater for the books. The show seemed to take off during the One In One Out jam. The Jives were a big highlight to me. Loved the heavy Umphrey’s McGoose sections in Big Modern. My first time hearing those two new ones in the first set and enjoyed them both. Second set was heat all the way through. The guys still know how to do it. Also enjoyed the Eggy show after as well as the shows at Elysian Garden with Ethan Brown from Oxmoor. Great day for ham band music in Avondale. See yall at the next one. "
