Metallica

*This was the 18th time Metallica has played in Italy. They first played in Italy back on February 5, 1984 in Milan…it was their second European show ever.

*This was the 4th time The New Song was played on the Escape from the Studio ’06 tour.

*As much as Metallica has played in Italy over the years, this was the first time they have performed Leper Messiah in the country.

*This was the 10th time Metallica has performed Last Caress in Italy and the 2nd time they’ve played it on this tour.

*This was the final date on the European leg of the Escape from the Studio tour. Next stop, Japan!
