*This was the fifth time that Metallica performed in Newcastle.  The last time they were here was on October 7, 1996 on the Poor Touring Me tour.

*The first time they played Newcastle was on September 19, 1986 on the Damage, Inc. tour.

*This was the first time in over four years that Killing Time was performed.  The rarely played cover song was last performed on March 21, 2004 in Spokane, WA.  It was also the first time that this song had been performed outside of North America.

*This was the first time that No Remorse was performed in Newcastle.

*This was the first time that No Leaf Clover was performed in Newcastle.
