Show Notes

  • This was the first time Holier Than Thou has been performed in Italy.

  • This was the fourth time The Memory Remains has been played in Europe on this leg of the Madly In Anger With The World Tour.

  • This was the second time Metal Militia has been performed in Europe on this leg of the Madly In Anger With The World Tour. Prior to that it had not been performed in Europe since December 12, 1984 in London at the Lyceum Ballroom.

  • Before Creeping Death Lars invited James’ four year old son Castor to help out on drums. Castor took command and after a while Papa Het, Rob and Kirk joined and they were all jamming. Watch out world, here comes Castor Hetfield! After the jam Papa Het said jokingly to the crowd “I hope he plays guitar.”

  • This is the third and final show in Italy within one year. The other two shows in Italy were in Imola and Bologna.

  • This was the second time Metallica has performed in Padova. The last time was on September 13, 1988 at the Palasport.
