Metallica last played in Denmark on July 28, 2009 in Copenhagen.

 

This was the first time that the following songs were performed in Denmark: "The Shortest Straw", "Hell and Back", "The Struggle Within", "My Friend of Misery", "The God That Failed", and "Don't Tread on Me".

 

This was the first time in almost 20 years that "Through the Never" was played in Denmark.  It was last played in the country on December 20, 1992 in Copenhagen.
