"A decent show but not great by any standards. The highlight of the show was the birdland opener into eye know why. The show was kind of down hill from there. The new song drive was pretty good as was the impressions encore. I was disappointed that the last song played was time goes by, wat to mellow of a song to send us off with. I attended the Cleveland show and that one was a helluva lot better. I would not be hard pressed to buy this show."

"This show was definitely worth attending but I don`t know if I can say the same about paying to download it. Don`t get me wrong it had its peaks but many jams fell short and the overall flow of the show sounds quite lame on disc. I really hope to see the Cheese soon play 2 sets again. Playing one long extended set just doesn`t seem to fit thier style. Nonetheless the African Skies and the Eye Know Why were sick. Instead of paying ten bucks to hear just over an hour of music, your ten bucks would be much better spent downloading a phatty 2 set show. Might I recommend something off the ski tour? "

"I have loved SCI for years and thought they were very "on" last fall at 5 shows. I thought Sauget was very weak. The Impressions had its moments. I found the other bands did often not mix well, especially Michael Franti, who seams like a cool person but was very anoying. Travis and Jason are great and I love them, but it seams they are less fluid at changing rhythms, time signatures, and tempos than before. The whole band sounded more rock & roll ish on the 4 shows that I saw. Kang and Billy at times seam uninspired and playing the easy notes. May be the studio had affected them. I also think the crowd energy was not there for this show. The next two nights were much better. I hope they do not choose to do another tour with so many other acts, as it limited their time and stretching out ability. One or two opening acts would be plenty, I enjoyed YMSB & Keller. "

"This was my 3rd Incident and the 4th stop on the Big Summer Classic Tour. The event was actually in Sauget, IL not St. Louis, IL. GMC Stadium was a great venue for this event and I would love to see the Cheese come back there. Playing minor league ballparks and other smaller outdoor venues was a very wise move for this travelling event. Highlights of the extended one set show for me were Birdland, Old Dangerfield with Jeff Austin, Outside Inside w/Franti "One Love" improv rap & Boo Boo`s Pik-A-Nik. Also a nice Under African Skies closer. Sweet encore featuring "Drive", which is a newer song I love, and then Jake & Brendan from Umphrey`s and others on stage from "Impressions" on. It worked really well. Great stuff!"
