"Classic Bobby. A last glimpse before his decline. Special show. Energy, pace, nostalgia. "

"I came back this after the news of Bobby (dont worry I went back to my favorite classic dead 1st to properly remember the legendary legacy) and this brought so much peace to me. two favorites connecting. they showed the power of the grateful dead and how it will continue through bands to come for 300+ years like Bobby wanted. And lets not forget what was going on in this time with Phil passing (rip Phil) Bob was always able to channel his brothers and bring beautiful jams to the stage. Thank you Bob Weir and please jam in peace."

"Love Bobby (even still), love Cheese… this is pleasant enough, but I say the drums are holding them back from truly taking flight."

"I just got around to listening to this and I found it exceptional. Bob’s voice sounded like it did 20 years ago. Cheese was ON. Definitely a keeper show."

"After Drums, the last living member of the Grateful Dead front line came out solo and started Standing On The Moon all by himself. After the first verse, The String Cheese Incident, with 30 years of experience playing music together, trickled on stage and into the song. The foundation they laid was so solid and emotional that the old man really felt it. He belted out the lyrics and who knows what or who he was thinking about when he sang, "I'd rather be with you," but he put 77 years of life and memories and experiences into his voice for those notes. Tears were streaming down my face and so many around me. Then, in true Bob Weir fashion, after such an emotional rendition, he plucked the wrong note on his guitar. He was audibly frustrated with himself, but it cut the tension so perfectly. I laughed through the tears and watched my sons swaying to this music that transcends generations, forgives mistakes, and explores every facet of human emotion and understanding."

"Great show, setlist, and ensemble energy. I love that the band traded vocal duties, which brings good balance. You can tell the band practiced a good bit, and for a first run through this is solid, colorful, and fun. Also, VERY clear recording, with Kang taking most of the leads. Only complaint is that Billy is basically non-existent in the mix and Bob’s guitar is a little too high, which makes it harder to hear MK given the lack of low end in his instrument. But tremendous clarity and a very compatible mix of both GD and SCI energy. And of course a beautiful send off to Phil. "
