"Love that I found this show on here. First of 3 days in a row. The only time I saw these guys. Started listening again and now I’m planning on going to the pines next year. Listening to Shine had me remembering these 2 days specifically. Went with my then gf who has since passed. Went for Phil but was blown away by sci who I wasn’t super impressed by on tape. Great memories of us camping drinking and tubing while drinking with our boombox down the river. The summer my old gf passed I was going to bring her ashes to that river while on a trip somewhere else in northern Wisconsin. Then I heard about that crazy knife attack on the river so stayed away(2022). Will bring some ashes up to the pines which is in Eau Claire and happens to be where we stayed to rest the night before this show. Anyways love this show. "

"This is a really great long set show. Little Hands & Sand Dollar & Under African Skies are all outstanding. Phil & Friends played a great show as well. I'd love it if Nugs could get the old Phil Lesh Quintet shows from this era & the other Phil & Friends lineups he had over the years after the PLQ. Anyways, this Summer 2001 Cheese melted Wisconsin's face off."

"Was there. AMAZING festival with Phil Lesh and Friends, Les Claypool and Cheese. Was HOT as shiz during this set. Claypool was nuts and someone fired a rocket thru the campgrounds later. "
