"Bane, I've been to over 125 shows and been seeing them since '93. I think I would consider that a true fan. Thanks for coming out and let that resonate. "

    Barstoolz 5/3/2009 7:29:34 AM

"Bane, was this you 1st show. Maybe you should simmer down. We all go there for the same reason, to dance and have a good time. If people wanna sing let em sing. If you don't like it don't come back. A 20 min TIF is not a buzz kill unless you don't like the song. I thought you were supposed to 'feel the music. man.' The music should be giving you a buzz not killing it. My advice, don't come into the show with negative energy and you won't leave with it. Peace"

"Not gay, a woman, something well worth its weight in balance. You assume so much, naive man. You are probably one of those who sings along with JB instead of listening to his music. Go on, that is great, sing, but, I'd rather dance and FEEL the music than have an ego shouting match. Go, tarzan, go. listen to driving song, why such an ego, man you need a girl to set you straight..ha ha..ha, let that resonate...peace, love, panic."

"OK, it's official. BANE'S GAY!! "Did they really start Driving Song all over again?" C'mon dude. If you can't even figure that one out, then you don't need to be giving us your opinion of the show."

"This was my 40th show and my 2nd halloween show. This was the best halloween show I've seen yet. These guys ceese to amaze me! Welcome to my nightmare was an amazing intro, and Enter Sandman was unbelievable. The entire show blew me away. I love Widespread Panic!! Keep doing what your doing guys cause ya'll keep me going."

"First set kicks some serious a**. Second set, well...Enter Sandman is a personal fav, and I think they started out great, the crowd was into it, but they got lost. After that, there are some gems as well as some dogs - you`re gonna get that some nights. I haven`t heard too many shows yet w/ Herring, but I have to say I really like what I hear. Overall it`s an adventerous show, which is what Halloween SHOULD be - if you can`t get behind that and hear it for what it is, this probably isn`t the show for you. "

"It`s always nice to see that people don`t get too uptight with constructive criticism. If REAL fans would voice a comment every once in a while, it would make for a real review. Interesting.... OK guys, yea, it`s always a goodnight when you hear Panic, but the vibe was definitely off. Does anyone even listen to the music, or are you caught up in the hype? Ridin` the wagon or really letting them rock your soul?!? Do you move to an honest world when that first note is played? Do you push people, and tell them they are in `your`spot or do you let the entities flow as one and smile? there is a difference. Time is Free was so locked down, noone could get it going, I thought for a moment in the middle that maybe they were pulling it off, but there again goes Jimmy on some ego tangent away from the band. I would like to believe JB walks to jimmy to lead him back to the band. yea,he`s a lead guitar so its to be expected, but the band man: that`s where SCHOOL`S is the entire time with Todd laying down the earth shattering foundation this band has always presented. TIFree for 20 minutes of struggling, kinda a buzz kill, probably for the band too...and was it me or did they start driving song all over again?! I will not hesitate to see them again, just maybe not on H`ween. peace, music lovers, keep it in perspective, smile, dance, and why not whistle too!"

"The Dark Side of Panic is my favorite part of this widespread addiction. This is my favorite Heavy Metal Band!"

"Let me add my 2 cents that Enter Sandman isn`t the best thing they`ve ever performed live, but then Metallica isn`t my cup of tea. But this show is never the less an amazing piece of work--the encore, sweet jesus. My friend was like, `why are they whistling at a rock show`, and that might be a tad cheesy (trust me, I`m a huge python fan) but I`ve never heard of much less heard a band who can pull off a Look on the Bright Side > Children of the Grave with such natural ease. This show, for being a halloween bit, has such a great feel to it--the songs are dark but they work so well together. That natural ease I`m talking about. Driving > Time is Free > Driving has gotten a little attention, but certainly not enough. I can always do without an Imitation Leather Shoes but I could not do without this show since I am stuck in Britain and these downloads are all I have to remind me why this band ruined every other live experience for me. This show I`m sure had the same effect on others. And mr. 200+ (not being mean, just forgot your name) I know what you mean, but I wouldn`t say this band is going downhill, they are so much more dynamic than in the old days. Jimmy`s technical virtuosity is pushing everyone in directions they may not be a 100% comfortable in, but they still creates great music. "

"Welcome to my Nightmare a perfect opener. The All Time Low>Hatfield>Machine>Barstools was worth the ticket price alone. Enter Sandman melted into an absolutely sick Fishwater which dropped into a furious Bust it Big. Now, this is in reference to the sunny optimism of one GiantBoone: Do your research before making a comment that all of us can read. You said JB was apologizing during one of his mumbling rants. I remember that "apology" during the beginning of Jack: "What good is it If I can`t even sing it to you What good is it If I can`t even come out and sing it to you right now `Cause talkin` won`t do it And walkin` won`t rush it along" He is actually singing "Do You Miss Me Darlin`"by the Guess Who before he starts the Jack lyrics. Oh, and let`s not forget Driving>Time is Free>Driving. And...Children of the Grave. Great spooky ender which decimated any energy I still owned. That is my only "complaint". "

"OK - let me just start by saying that I do not pretend to be the end all be all Panic fan, but I have been seeing them "since before the beginning" so to speak. Jo Jo during the Beanland days, $10 shows, Tippitinas, Mikey standing up on stage, and 200+ shows later I am left with the reality that I am losing faith a bit. Widespread is now a band that needs no introduction, which back in the day was a highlight at the beginning of the evening, for those that remeber. Halloween shows are always a must see and have for the collection. This one I missed, so I am left with this option for which I am thankful for. Checking the setlist and seeing some very intriguing covers made me all jazzed in expectation. I have to say that I am disappointed. I am not coming on here to bash, because for my $ the boys are still the best thing going, but I am also not going sit up here and act like the Slip Kid and Enter Sandman were off the hook. Because, they were farrrr from it. I for one am also not going to come on here and simply blow a bunch of sunshine and not be realistic of where things have headed, and in all honesty, that would be DOWN! This is a Plea from one long time fan to real it back in and get back to business! Just my 2 cents that I could no longer keep to myself. "

"I agree with VsKgb: This show should ABSOLUTELY be released on DVD! (Mainly for all the folks out there who couldn`t get in, but also for the rest of us to relive the greatness!)"

    Eastcoast. 11/6/2007 2:19:43 AM

"This show was a real experience. The crowd was all into Halloween. I saw things that I have never seen before. One guy was a giant pot leaf. When Panic hit the stage it was on, and rolled on till 1:15 in the morning. The covers were killer, Slip Kid was my favoite. When they tore into Enter Sandman, the crowd went insane. The music was tight and solid, the 20 min time is free was off the chain. Some assholes kept throwing glo-sticks at JB, if you listen closely he will add " stop throwing that shit at me" to the lyrics of Slip Kid. Why these idiots would do this is beyound me. I hope they come back next year, This is a historical show, glad I was there, I will never forget it. Keep jamming America. Eastcoast. Simpsonville, SC 11/6/07"

"I know Halloween shows have the reputation of being off the charts. This show was no exception. Everything about this show was epic. The set was unbelievable great costumes by the band. Jimmy as the V-Vendetta bloke was un-real. Him shredding the guitar in that costume is something I will never forget. The crowd was sooo down for the covers. The other 5 time first plays were great, but to open up second set with enter sandman not only caught everyone off guard but it also was like throwing a can of gasoline on a bonfire...pure energy. I myself flew out just for this one show but I ended up hopping on tour and going to Charleston-Thank You Widespread Panic!!!"

    hangininthelight 11/4/2007 9:18:05 PM

"Awesome show. Great set list and incredible energy the whole night. Definately one of the hardest rocking panic shows I have ever seen. The band always has something up there sleeve for halloween, and they didn`t dissapoint with this one. Definately a must download. "

    VsKgb 11/4/2007 12:07:22 PM

"Been to 8 WSP shows and this was by far the best! I hope they release it on dvd! The stage was awesome! The setlist was awesome! Asheville was awesome! Crowd was hyped the entire night! Can`t wait to get my copy of the show!"

    sympathy4thedevilJB 11/3/2007 11:26:35 PM
