"Killer shows in Chicago! Why are all y`all fighting about who`s better - Batman or Superman? Waste of precious time! Just don`t exhale and enjoy!"

"Love the recent enthusiasim, almost like a weight has been lifted. Easily still the hottest thing in town. 1PanicFan is a joke...cant wait to see what happens next!!! See u there."

"1panicfan should get the hell off this website. You are an obnoxious hater and should be taken out back and beaten for talking like you are. These Chicago shows sound unbelievable. The setlists were put together very nicely and the boys sound awesome. I bet your the kind of idiot that dances his ass off at the shows then turns around and bad mouths the boys after the show. You should stop going to shows, to make more room for those of us that want to be there and can`t get enough of the boys. You should go back to your backwoods town, and continue to let your buddy Cletus make you yelp like a pig, you fuckin` ass pirate."

"You guys are such fuckheads. Get a clue on the Grateful Dead and gay ass Phish comparisons. Panic is the Panic, and your ignorant, simple, and moronic parallels to all to these washed up monkeys are nothing short of brainless. When you set the standard of true, authentic, heart felt, original and time tested rock and roll performance.........Trey and Mike and jamband this and that are really about as relevant as a new little freshman, fag ass, frat boy, fudge packer at the University of Alabama. Or any other little homosexual, southern frat boy for that matter. Enjoy the music for the creative experience that it is. Panic style beeeeatch."

Question to Jimmy John? 8/22/2006 11:35:10 PM

"Jimmy John I hope when you say "this guy", you`re not referring to Panics lead vocalist J.B.(John Bell). If so, please have some respect and at least refer to him by his name and so what if you can`t understand everything he sings. Is this your first Panic show? J.B. has a very edgy, raspy voice. If you`re hearing one of Panics songs where J.B. goes off such as Blight or Arleen and lately Barstoold and Dreamers. J.B. will go off on little raps stories kind of like Bobby or Pigpen would do on "Lovelight". You Deadheads will know what I mean. Especially those 1968 Lovelights with Pigpen. He would rap during "Lovelight" for 20 minutes. J.B. is starting do it more and more and I LIKE IT!!!!!"

"All three shows were amazing, and I agree, 1panicfan can keep his crap and inaccurate commentary to himself. The band seemed to be having a ton of fun up there, and aside from a couple short sound system issues, the rest of the show went off without a hitch. The second set saturday was awesome!! Shouts out to Dina from Denver with the flashing rings, flip flops, and ring pops! Thanks for sharing some of your candy Dina, it was thoroughly exciting at the time, if you know what I mean ;) That was one rockin Henry Parsons!"

"What an epic weekend in Chicago and another amazing set of Panic shows indeed! This was one of the best shows I have seen this year and kept me moving the entire time. Thanks also to the red hot mama from Frisco next to me left side fourth row which made the night even more incredible, maybe next time we wouldn`t miss the Arleen. All I have to say is Sam Holt is the man and brings it like nobody`s business. After all the great shows with him this summer, it is hard to imagine he won`t be there in the fall. Unfortunately I couldn`t be there for Sunday and was kicking myself when I saw the setlist! "

    WYATT : RE ? FOR WYATT 8/15/2006 7:47:59 PM

"I was 10th row left center. No body was sittin. Had a lot of fun occasionally flayling my arms forward and pokin AIR DRUM boy in the back of the head. Must have been all the energy weed in the air."

    No1PanicFan 8/15/2006 2:46:31 PM

"Hey no 1PanicFan take your bitching somewhere else. You don`t like the music then don`t listen and don`t go to the shows. Everything about the whole weekend run was smokin. Hell the whole tour was smokin. Guys probably waiting for anothe Phish reuinion or another IMAX of a replay of some old Phish DVD that came out years ago. Hey 1panicfan I hear Preorder and mail order starts for IMAX`s performace of Phish DVD Bittersweet Motel. In 5.1 Surround and it`s only 15 bucks a ticket. The DVD is 8 years old but it`s Phish so you know it`s good."

    PATFIELD 8/15/2006 9:48:45 AM

"By brutal Summer tour I hope you meant best one since 2001. Just wait `til next Summer..."

"point in fact the reason there is no machine is they had technical difficulties it happens at shows! i understand that but i am not paying money for a show that is short but you can do what you want with yours"

    1panicfan 8/15/2006 8:54:38 AM

"i think myothercarisalovetractor just wants a hug with that rediculous crap write a manuscript somewhere else this is a show review not a match maker"

    louinasheville 8/15/2006 6:16:12 AM

"If this show is missing Machine, shouldn`t it be a couple bucks cheaper? How can you charge FULL price for a show that is INCOMPLETE? Is Trey Anastasio running this operation?"

QUESTION FOR WYATT? 8/15/2006 4:09:44 AM

"Hey WYATT? Where were you sitting and what did the dude playing the air drums look like? I think I was right by you MAN. Great show but that dude was banging a his salami not a drum. What did he look like, what color were his clothes and where were you sitting. I think I`ve seen this dude at other PANIC shows and he likes to beat the Meatstick but you weren`t the one sitting the whole show were you?"

    MyOtherCarIsALoveTractor 8/14/2006 11:23:17 PM

"Hey 1PanicFan for being such a Panic fan you sure don`t sound like one. Quit your crying and enjoy the band you love. I don`t how it sounded on the balcony. I attended all 3 nights but was on the floor all 3 nights. The sound couldn`t be more crisp. In the beginning of the second set they needed to turn it up which took about 2 minutes. Saturday night was probably the worse night of the 3 night run based on quality of playing, which I kind of figured anyway. Saturday is when you`re most likely to get more songs but in shorter blocks and shorter jams, without any continuous jams. It was probably the shortest show of the 3 nights also. They played strictly to the book without really stretching out the songs. Still a good show. Friday incredible show with monstrous jams throughout. Listened to it on my way up to Sundays show. Sundays show forget about, absolutely smoking to the rim. Don`t get no better. If you were there and you say it wasn`t smokin then go see Trey and Mike shows. You know this is what Deadheads sounded like in 1994, just like you. Constantly crying about the setlist, sound, etc. Then the next year they were gone. Ask any Deadhead who complained about too much Liberty, or I Fought the Law now if they could take all that back and hear those songs and have the Grateful Dead back they would do anything. They wouldn`t care if the Dead encored with Easy Answers everynight, they would be there. So stop complaining and be happy Panic is still here playing music for us. Nobody since the Dead has hit me like PANIC. The DEAD were the first band where I would spend money to travel across the country to see, no other band has done that for until I was introduced to PANIC. SO THANK YOU PANIC AND KEEP US DANCING AND DON`T EVER STOP. Panic to close out the tour I say. I`ve seen all these so called jambands. YOU ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAPTURE THAT GRATEFUL DEAD experience in a way where I mean you take your fans to another place for a few hours. Time stands still and you forget about everything else in life. Your body can`t stop moving and you just let everthing out and that`s how I felt at a DEAD show. I feel the same way at a PANIC show. I think Jerry Joseph said it best in TEWSY "one of things I don`t like about a lot of the so called jambands nowadays is that they went to a Grateful Dead concert on a Sunny Sunday afternoon in Palto Alto. Ate mild dose of mushrooms, there were pretty girls everywhere and Bob Weir sang every song. And those bands walked away with the light or the happy side of the Grateful Dead. The thing I always liked about theGrateful Dead was there was also a dark side to the Grateful with the Hells Angels and drug overdoses. And of all the Jambands I can think of Widespread Panic is the only band that I can think of that has a light side to them but also has that dark underbelly to them and that what makes them so special." DON`T QUOTE WORD FOR WORD BUT I KNOW JERRY SAID SOMETHING LIKE THAT. HAHA I`m a JACKMORON. So to J.B., JOJO, DAVE, TODD, DOMINGO, SAM, JOHN, GEORGE, MIKEY:), and our newest family member and also DEAD FAMILY member JIMMY, I say thank you for what you have done and brought to my life and made it so much blighter. I look forward too the future of countless years of music together. Keep it coming because as long as you keep playing we`ll all still be here listening and if it feels good we`ll shake. As our good friend Col. Bruce said in TEWSY "if the girls come and sing the lyrics, the band will last." WIDESPREAD you guys get more beautiful ladies dancing and singing at your shows then the Playboy mansion. Have a nice break and I`ll see you in September."

"dont waste your time sound was horrible several sound problems jb i love ya but only so much you can do! dont buy this set of shows plus saturday first set sucked 2nd set ok overall in panic terms and 6.5 for the entire weekend"

    "YO WHERES THE MACHINE?!?!"

    matt-o 8/14/2006 2:15:05 PM

"I hate to be the proverbial wet blanket, but we were stuck in the upper deck where the sound was terrible - muffled bass and nothing else. Couldn`t hear any groove at all. Throw in the brutal no smoking policy (that was actually enforced near me) and long beer lines, and this was the most disappoitning panic show I`ve been to (saw my first show in 1992 and have seen the boys about 35 times). Maybe it`s the transition away from George, or maybe it was the end of a brutal summer tour (and I`m sure they`ll be back on track before too much longer), but Sat night was a major disappointment."
