"Wow yall`s comments are bringin me right back--the great show of course--and that stupid little security guard with the ponytail makin an ass of himself that ran around makin you stop smokin- "one more time and youre outta here" I heard 15 times. Basically like yall said, great show, greater set list, bad venue (but awesome city)."

"What better way to open up a show than with f`n HATFIELD! and an even better way to open up the second set for Houser by playing B of D... Don`t hate appreciate."

"Kind of funny nobody mentioned this is the first time since Mikey died that they`ve been back to his hometown. Hence the B of D.... "

"Boone sure as hell isn`t the town it used to be. Ever since meth hit, it`s been a goddamn police state. Nonetheless, it was a good show (especially that BofD) and the kind heads living on the mountain really did appreciate the boys coming back up there. The pre-show pig pickin` up on hippie hill surely helped me get through the night!"

"Great show , George`s intensity is the best. Even though inside u couldn`t go crazy that is why you make it an all day party before you go."

"i agree with most, show was very good, the venue on the other hand SUCKED (no beer, no more campus please... and the staff working were terrible!!!) "

    j Dubs 9/30/2005 10:25:33 AM

"Good show but I dont like hearing Barstool and Ribs without being able to have a beer. Also I didnt like having to tell the 19 yr old security guy that if he shined his flashlight in my face again I was going to stick it up his ass."

    PATFIELD 9/30/2005 7:49:59 AM

"Yeah, because freedom of speech ought to be illegal... especially when it`s the truth!"

"I request the administrators remove the posting by "Too Shockin to See" re: Trey. First of all, it`s inaccurate (Trey`s Red Rocks `02 run was phenomenal); second, the post has absolutely relevance to Panic or the Boone show. Please feel free to remove this post as well if/when you take the negativity off this site. Shame on you, "too shockin.""

"What a way to celebrate the autumnal equinox! I agree with the previous posts praising the music and the crowd but disparaging the venue...no beer? c`mon. My highlights were Jojo`s drum solo followed by him throwing a stick at JB as well as the ad-lib lyrics in Life During Wartime: "you look exhausted/ I`ve got some [caffeine]." Ribs and Whiskey was so sweet, and who can forget JB saying "For a minute there, the band was SEVEN" after Barstools...that chick was at least chill...she didn`t try to bum-rush any of the boys once she got up there, just happy to be alive. Of course, as several folks have already observed, B of D was particularly poignant considering the locale. Hope to see y`all in Charleston."

    TOO SHOCKIN` TO SEE 9/28/2005 9:08:16 PM

"Q: What do Trey Anistasio and tartar sauce have in common? A: They both suck without phish"

    wrangler 9/27/2005 5:23:24 PM

"But, at the Asheville show they played Genesis, North, Dirty Business, Stop-Go, Porch, all in the 1st set....pretty hard to beat for a long time fan. There was also a good Pilgrims and Ribs & Whiskey in the 2nd...not to mention a 4 song encore with Gotta Get Out of this Place for the 1st time. But, everyone takes someting different from each show. The conitinuity and vibes were excellent in Asheville. Don`t get me wrong, every WSP show is an experience. "

    LowSpark 9/27/2005 4:35:56 PM

"In response to wrangler... This show had much better energy than Asheville. The sound was better, the people were better, everything was better."

    paniconia 9/27/2005 11:27:26 AM

"Show was unbelievable. Who cares that the audience was a bunch of college kids. Boone was definitely special for all the Booners and I feel we recieved the panic very well. I mean c`mon, the crowd all stayed put during drums and clapped along with JoJo`s crazy antics. Todd was also really excited about the Ribs & Whiskey. "

    wrangler 9/26/2005 7:53:51 PM

"Not my favorite show of the year. I take that back. Not my favorite venue. I love Boone and went to ASU twice. The setlist was fine, but I just wasn`t feeling it this time. The crowd was mainly college kids, not the diversity I`m used to now. I went to Asheville, Red Rocks, and Charlotte, and nothing can top the Asheville show on 5/7/05. That was the most energy I`ve felt at a show and it left my expectations high. You had to have an armband to get on the floor in Boone. That was kind of a bummer too. "

Some people are just happy to be alive 9/24/2005 10:43:56 PM

"Very energetic show! Upbeat first set with awesome Hatfield and Junior! Second set opened with B of D, first one in a long time! Drum jam with JoJo drumming on cabinet! Altogether a very awesome show, as well as emotional since Mikey`s passing, a fellow boonian! Definately a recomended download, this was my fourth show this year and this one has been the best one yet!"

Seen your sister naked..... 9/24/2005 7:47:09 PM

"Solid show. The band was tight all night. Loved the `who do you belong to?` and the B of D was just nasty. Second Set sounds great and well worth the money. The crowd went nuts during Chilly Water. It`s great to see Panic in the Carolinas. "

    John Kidda 9/24/2005 10:46:25 AM

"In Panic`s first show back in Boone in six years, they pulled out a bunch of classics. We got a Hatfield opener, a Junior, a Fishwater, a Weight.. all in the first set. The highlight of the show for me was the B of D opener in the second set (George`s first B of D). Second set highlights included Life During Wartime and the Tall Boy encore. Unfortunately, Holmes Center was a less than ideal venue for the band. The venue staff and the Holmes Center`s poor acoustics kept a good show from being great."
