"Idc what anyone says, since the beginning of panic w Mikey, this show ranks top and should be talked about w the likes of oak mountain 96-99 and all those panic head favorites. This show is absolutely phenomenal on so many levels. It’s straight real JAM too! Shows a 10/10 fire fest: "

"In 2007 Someone said Trey Should have Join, lol!!! Southern Rock isn't Trey Anastasio's sound! He Could pull it off for sure but it wouldn't be him!! Jimmy is the one, always will be the one!! He fits this band perfect and they continue to kill it!! I love em with Jimmy! Mikey wrote some great Music and great riffs but his playing was far from the level Jimmy reaches!! WSMFP! Miss ya Mikey!!"

"A monday halloween face melter! Panic tour the MGM a new one. When J.B. came out in the chicken suit u new Contentment was coming- I forgot my rubber chicken. Great covers, great stage with the mardi gras clown, great sound, GREAT boomers. The security was absolutley ridiculous though. "

GO TO CANADA 1/28/2008 1:11:30 PM

"Anybody that doesn't like Jimmy should be sent to Canada. We dont need Trey, this isnt a circus. Jimmy is the best addition to the band since it started. Rock on Jimmy."

"Look, here`s the deal...once and for all...georgey was grand, mikey was the man, jimmy is better than!!!!!!I loved Mikey and miss him. honestly though, he was a great song writer, but he wasn`t the best guitarist. I don`t like saying it, but he was probably the least talented one the band...but he was PANIC!!!!"

    huskerWSPfan 4/24/2007 11:23:38 PM

"Look. Mikey is gone. Nobody is saying that JH is better than Mikey , but anyone who doesnt see the difference between Herring and George is blind. It just flows now. I did the 06 summer tour and then flew out to NYC for Jimmys first shows with the boys at Radio City and could tell the difference immediately. The band is once again complete. George wasnt it. Jimmy is."

"I miss you Mikey. Please call Trey anastasio and see if he wants a new job. The world would catch on fire."

"jaco99- I don`t think anyone has said anything negative about Mikey, only positive about Jimmy.Along with your grammar, you have lost your ability to listen objectively.Anyone that knows a thing about music knows that it is not fair to compare these two greats. This music is evolving in a direction it would not have otherwise been able to.That`s all Jimmy.Peace. "

"Seems to me that there are an amazing amount of ignorant indivduals commenting on things they plainly state they have little knowledge of, comparisons between completely differant times, and people are poitless. There is no compatition between Michel Houser, and Jimmy Herring, that`s the 1st thing everyone should learn,2nd if this was your 10th,15th,20th show you should listen, and not speak, and judge so quickly, and if your a collage student from wherever learn your basic math, and know you were in high school when Mikey was playing so please show some respect. This was a smokin` show, but not to be commpared either you liked it,or you didnt.I`ve been seeing The Panic since 1990,and Jimmy Herring since about the same time, with ARU,The Allman Bros.,Jazz is Dead,Phil and Friends, and now with The Panic, and he is a spectacular player extremely versatile, and a super nice guy he contiuasly evolving, but if you werent in every funkey city, and collage town in the south you no nothing about how good Mikey realy was,and if you think otherwise, please educate your ear, and apreciate the music otherwise, find some kareoake bar where you can get crunchy lip sinking to moe covering a phish song, written by string cheese, and dont waste your money on my seat to complain.Michel Houser(RIP)he brought a lot of joy to a lot of people.Wes Mothgomery,Freddie King,Chet Atkins, start with learning about the masters, that laid the ground work for everyone else to follow. guitar_daddy 12/20/2006 2:33:11 AM

"Great show - cool covers. Jimmy Herring is doing great. What is most impressive about Herring is that he steps into a tour and gets up to speed so fast. George was doing good over the summer, however it took him 5 years to get there, and that`s the difference. Herring is in a league above George and it shows. Anyway, this show is well worth the download!"

    1armstevo 12/10/2006 7:47:29 AM

"Panic has gone to an entirely new level. WOW! George was good, but didn`t make the cut. Jimmy filled in the hole that was left by Mikey. There`s been a missing link since Mikey, and now everyone`s linked up. The energy from the boys on stage is dynamic! They`re loving it! Its good to be back again... Thanks boys! "

    huddabudda 12/7/2006 10:42:59 AM

"i guess garcia was a better player than herring too?come on folks,Mikey was the genesis for this band but he was not a great guitarist.he knew his limitations and played within them and played with the band, something George couldn`t do.Jimmy can.get ready for some SERIOUS music. "

DINNER AT THE DINER 11/29/2006 6:53:25 PM

"I`LL TAKE THE ENERGY ANY OL` TIME. IF YOU WERE THERE YOU KNOW! GET IT WHILE IT`S HOT! A CHICKEN SUIT AND A DOG FACE.... KILLER FUN WEEKEND WITH FRIENDS IN SIN CITY.........THANKS TO ALL!!!!!! PILGRIMS-GRETA-SHARON.......PRETTY DAMN FINE IN MY HUMBLE OPINION! HANDS AND PEA BRAIN OFF MIKEY STOOOOOPID! "

    Waker 11/29/2006 5:59:15 PM

"Herring is quite talented but I fail to see/hear improvement over George. What is all the hype? New chemistry?"

    conrad 11/29/2006 5:35:00 PM

"Without out mike houser there would be no panic and therefore no "crunchy" grooves ass."

    PATFIELD 11/27/2006 2:10:02 PM

    "Houser."

    looks2muchlikedave 11/25/2006 4:50:14 PM

"Crunchygroove420, you are an idiot. If you`re in desperate need of an electric mandolin, go see String Cheese, but don`t talk shit about Mike Hauser. We need to show some respect. This is an excellent show by the way. Diner, Proving Ground, Greta, Airplane all rocked the house!"

    scattin` da B 11/24/2006 5:03:06 PM

"Dude, Great show, Schools feelin`Herring that night. Wasn`t there (overseas), but can see what was going on. Diner just leaves you feeling not stabilized. But for the last reviewer, you don`t joke about Mikey, just makes ya look "stoopid," and besides that`s what makes Herring sound like homecoming. Get it? Good."

    Crunchygroove420 11/21/2006 8:26:23 PM

"I have seen Panic 10 times now, and this was by far their crunchiest show ever. The crunchy grooves didn`t stop! I`ve heard some people talk about this guy, Mike Hoosier, but I think Jimmy Herring is the best ever! He crunches the grooves crunchier than any other crunchmeister to roast a groove to perfect cruchiness! Only complaint is not enough electric mandolin and ukelelee, plus, panic fans have alot to learn. Where are the Hoola Hoops, guys? Keep crunchin`!"

    Willie 11/21/2006 9:20:15 AM

"I have now been to about 15 shows or so and this was so electric that I couldn’t stop dancing the whole night. I also realized after this night that it’s a very small world. While going to the show I was talking to this young guy that said he was from Iowa. Well I live in Dubuque, IA right now and told him that I was also from Iowa. He told me he was a senior at UNLV and was a huge Spread Head. One thing leads to another and we decided to sit by each other during the show. When talking to this guy a little more I realized that he was originally from a town about an hour away from where I grew up. I told him that I had some old college roommates from his town of Cedar Rapids, IA and of course somewhere amongst the haze they were his older brother’s best friends in High School. If it wasn’t for WSP I would have never meet this guy, who knows if I’ll ever run into him again, but if I do we will have a couple of great stories to tell. I also called my old college roommates and had a few laughs over the whole thing. Thank you John, Dave, JoJo, Todd, Domingo, Mike, Jimmy & George for making me a true fan of music in all it’s glory. I will travel to the Halloween show wherever it may be next year. Oh yeah, let’s try and keep it away from the Rolette wheel so I can spend more money on beers at the show. Have a great Thanksgiving Spread Heads! Willie from Dubuque "

"how about schools pushing the envelope (filter) with some electric funeral at the end of greta...nice"

    andrew 11/9/2006 12:03:59 PM

"good call, Fishwater. a fantastic evening, and the band is sounding better than they have since `02 - Jimmy challenges them or settles in where appropriate, but DEFITITELY not the best Panic show ever! (`97 Halloween is a contender, though.) Most or all of Fishwater`s recommendations are better than this show (but, again, that`s from another crusty old Panic fan of 14 years!) Also, listen to 4-3-96, 6-16-96, 3-12-97, ANY of the `98 New Years gigs, 10-28-00, or set 2 from 11-28-00 for more heaters. [you can also listen to any show from a small midwestern venue in the middle of nowhere with 100-200 in attendance from `95-`97 for a mind-meler!] GO JIMMY! GO WIDESPREAD PANIC! LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!!!"

    cajunjazz 11/9/2006 7:55:17 AM

"I hear you craftman.... NOLA misses them greatly! hopefully they`ll get the urge for some good gumbo and come show us cajuns what southern rock is all about. COME BACK TO NOLA PLEEEAAASSSSEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!"
