"Live and recorded, this set was and is evidence of a foundation for the depth, consistency, and heights of any year past. Heads up Nolaween patrons. If you think you're hearing a ball being tossed around over a bed of noodles, I told you so! And if you see that ball arcing WIDE back and forth, flash back and forward all you like. Let go and let Mikey. "

"The show was amazing! They began w/a smoking "Climb to Safety" into fish water (2 of my favs.) Herring just seems to bring the intensity needed to power the band. Ann Marie Calhoun was a tasty addition to show. They really delivered. I walked away fulfilled and happy! "

"I agree completely with the first review. I thought I was just going to get a small "taste" of Panic in Golden Gate Park, but they decided to skip the bun, lettuce, and other accoutrements and just piled on the meat! I felt like their was a sense of urgency in the playing. Although a glance at the setlist might not lead one to believe greatness was achieved, every moment of the show was perfection. In addition, you never know what you're going to get when someone joins Panic on stage, but the fiddle player had major chops and knew when to blend in, when to step aside and watch Jimmy, and when to trade licks with him. I was really impressed. Overall, it really felt like a complete show, I did not feel like I needed more. They really packed a full show into less than 2 hours. I can't wait to listen to it again!"

"Schedule says WSP is going to play omly an hour and a half set, people are focusing on the Colorado shows coming up, and other Genres of music all around. So What happened: Pure WSP sickness! They played 35 to 40 minutes over their scheduled time and brought the heat from the start. They sounded great, Ann marie was amazing! Best 1 setter I have seen. I actually felt like I got a full show. Great stuff! Highlight of the WSP show and festival: Surprise Valley > Blackout Blues > Suprise Re > Low Rider Jam > ALG! (with Ann Marie on Fiddle! Also the 17 minute fishwater and Papas Home was amazingly sick and the Green Onions jam in the middle of HP Died! M "
