    "JoJo took the show..."

"Down home country beat and twang throughout the night at Ames, IA. I think the band all wore faded blue jeans too. The crowd was nuts…I didn’t want to leave. I thought live was better than this recording, but this recording is great too. I have not noticed any flaws in porch song…seems someone is adjusting the levels on knocking ‘round the zoo though. Jojo’s is out of tune/off key at the beginning of action man. But hey, if I want perfection I can just listen to the studio stuff. Jojo hit the keys so hard all night he was entitled to one error. I thought I noticed Jojo retreat to the organ because he had tired fingers towards the end of the show….givin’ his all…as the rest of the band. A big thank you to all involved in the widespread panic system...never never stop…….more, more, more. "

"Who`s this awaker dude? I think u need to see some more shows bro. The energy for this show was amazing. Maybe just a little too old school 4 ya. Takeout>Diner ruled."

"Lighten up Lady`s on the reviews there is no such thing as a bad Panic show, sure some shows come together better than others but even on the bad nights Panic Rocks just like they did Ames. Venue was sweet and crowd was nuts. Blackout Blues was played with authority. A nice 1 x 1 to close the first set. (Only minor complaint the encore was played a little slow) (Thanks Panic for a good 2005)"

"Ludwig, If this id the highest energy 1st set you`ve ever seen I feel sorry for ya. And George is ok in my book but he`s about 10 billion miles from masterful."

"dude i am not a hater been going to shows sinse 89 probably 200 altogether and this one misses on many levels.i was at mud island and they were great, they had some fire buy those i will"

"Definitely a fun show full of high energy. Highlight for me was Ain`t Life Grand > Jam > Mercy. The jammin` was on fire between the the two songs. I`m really diggin` what McConnell can do for songs like Mercy. He adds a whole new direction and sound. They all played a hell of a show though, glad to see them doin` what they do best! "

"Too sick... awaker is a hater. Dude how many shows have you been to? I`ve seen 12 since the spring tour, and this was the highest energy 1st set I`ve EVER seen in a panic show. George is masterful, JoJo keeps getting better....too much I could say. But one thing is for sure, they shouldn`t play Porch Song unless they are gonna jam it out. Too short...."

    PATFIELD 10/6/2005 5:17:28 PM

"Let`s see...Everybody thinks it`s the heat except for one dude, whomever shall I believe...hmmmm?"

    awaker 10/6/2005 10:26:24 AM

"whos writing these reveiws?.save your money, they miss on about everything.that thing gmac does during holden is just awful,jb lacks energy, jojos the only bright spot.oh,and the sounds muddy.can i get my money back?"

    MIchael 10/5/2005 12:12:53 PM

"Incredible. George was really tearing it up as well as the rest of the band. All I can say is fifteen minute diner: fucking badass. JB shows he`s got some soul and this is just one of the nicest diners i`ve ever heard. Was a little disappointed with the encores, but there is really nothing bad I could say about the show. Panic proved to me that they are just only getting better. "

"Too many good things to say about this one. The venue was cool, the crowd was nuts, our seats were amazing (MF L-1, w/ built in "bar"), and the band was on. The Take Out>Diner>Blackout was killer. I got my "Holden" and "1x1". I like the slower version of "Mercy", but I`m interested to hear this one again. I can`t get the picture out of my mind, turning around during Good People and seeing, like, a giant IMAX of Panic junkies rocking their brains out. And, of course, Knockin` Round the Zoo... I think this was my favorite of the Ames>Madison>St. Paul, too. Although Madison was nuts. THANK YOU x THANK YOU."

"This 1st set rocked! From the tastey TAKE OUT/DINER/BLACKOUT opener all the way through 1x1. Good People was definately a highlight in the second set, as was the perfectly played Surprise Valley complete with Sonny gettin` DOWN. Imatation was off the hook! This was my favorite of the AMES>MADISON>MINNEAPOLIS run. Thanks for coming to the Mid West boys! We all grieve the loss of Dino, who will be missed by all. Keep on keepin` on"

    Mike Vogel 10/4/2005 2:11:01 PM

"This show is worth it alone to hear May Your Glass Be Filled. JB absolutely nailed it with a soft crooning voice- with just the right touch of soul. Other highlights are the Jojo-led Daisy Mae, and George`s solo in Travelin` Light. Wow, just wow. Great night to be in the 5th row! Thanks to the boys for another great show! MV"
