Show Notes

  • Fourth Annual Tunes For Tots Benefit Concert

  • Proceeds from this concert go directly to purchase musical equipment for Georgia Public Schools. The 2007 recipients, Rothschild Middle School, received instruments for their orchestra and a 27 station music computer lab with the latest version of Music Maker Finale on them.

  • Widespread Panic believes that art education, and in particular music education, is integral to the overall education and advancement of children. Art allows for personal expression, appreciation of ideas, celebration of cultural awareness, sharing emotions, and gives purpose to life. Widespread Panic agrees with research findings that art education supports more traditional academic subjects as well as being a worthy pursuit in its own right.

  • Fixin' To Die with Col. Bruce Hampton on vocals.

"I flew to this show from San Francisco and must say that musically, it wasn't the best...Don't get me wrong, I love Widespread Panic and any show is better than no show, BUT, the previous night at Lakewood was significantly better. The most amazing part of this show is what's not included on the CD....the VIP pre-party. What an incredible experience it was to hang out, shake hands with and meet the band. All in all, these guys are an extremely professional and gracious bunch. This Atlanta weekend will be a fond memory of mine for a long time....if you really want some good downloads, try the Lakewwod Shows....."

"Incredible Show. The Tabernacle was a phenomenal venue for WSP. Plenty of room to dance, haze over the crowd and an absolutely perfect vibe. Use Me was ridiculous, the crowd was going richter, even the bartenders and security were feeling it. WSP brought it strong on Sunday."
