"Tornado show was actually on July 2, 2008. Had to break for the leaky roof before “last straw”. This show was epic though. Balcony was shaking in the second set."

"Attended these shows on the road from Memphis to my new job in Wyoming. It should be noted that there was a tornado as the show began and the event staff were forced to let everyone in. Also... it rained inside the venue... really. The boys rocked the roof off the place (with the help of the tornado) and they had to stop the set, cover the stage with tarps, and wait it out. Fun times with this band and all the good people ? "

"I know people say this all the time, but this has to be one of the best setlists i've ever seen. holy shit!"

KCmoan 4/27/2007 3:30:35 PM

"I must admit I am somewhat biased because I live in KC but you should never miss a KC show if possible. The boys are bringing the heat every time they play here. I am sooo psyched they have decided to head-line the Wakarusa festival (another show that you should not miss). Jimmy is rockin the house and the boys haven`t looked this comfortable since Mikey passed away. Glad to see some of the old school tunes back in the rotation. I love me some Contentment, Sharon and Mr. Soul. Panic on!"

TCfanic 4/6/2007 8:43:38 PM

"Wowie man! Panic is rolling. KC, both nights was out of control. Drove down from the twin cities to catch both nights. I have always been a fan of Jimmy Herring and now it just confirms he is the best going right now. Without a doubt. Everything about KC was hot. The crowd, the venue, the city - and of course the boys we all love so much. Thanx Panic. Hope to see you out west very, very soon."

" After the first night i wondered if it could get much better... I definitely got my answer! We got the FULL PANIC ARSENAL on night two. Me and a guy in the crowd guessed that Legba or LGDTB would open the first night but my oh my were they worth the wait. Proving Ground was nice and then it turned into sort of a greatest hits for a couple of songs with Can`t Get High, Down, and Papa Johnny Road which are all crowd pleasers... especially Down which is a favorite of mine and probably the 1,499 other people there. Bear`s Gone Fishin` is always awesome live JoJO lays on the funk sooooo thick. Set closer with I`m Not Alone into Conrad was spectacular CONRAD THE RAGER!!! Second set is easily one of the best sets that I personally have ever seen the boys play. Thought Sausage opener YES! This Diner might be the best i have ever heard, it was just so so so long and groovy. Second Skin was decent. Ride Me High really set the crowd off somethin fierce and then came the shocker for me COCONUT!!! I have never seen it before live and man was it too sweet. I still haven`t stopped singing it. My girlfriend is about to drive me out of the house! Next into a perfect Christmas Katie which is such a great great song along with Radio Child as well. Then the set just blew me away (as if it hadn`t already!?!?!) Bust It Big was rocking and rolling when out of left field came Contentment Blues. This song has slowly become one of my favorites stemming from my Vegas Halloween last year (2nd row center just fricken` plastered) when they opened with it and JB was in the chicken suit... CLASSIC! So at this point now im thinking to myself alright, "What a solid set! Now all we need is like a Fishwater encore as icing on the cake." That is when the band responded, "NO NO NO lets knock their F*^KIN` SOCKS OFF," and yes they did. Now for THE ABSOLUTE PEEEERFECT SHOCKER ENCORE OF SHARON?!?!?!? (all time personal favorite) > MR. SOUL?!?!?!? (neil is god and god is neil) AND MY MIND JUST FREAKIN` EXPLODED! WHAT A NIGHT FOR SPREADHEADS!"

"Really?! You guys killed us on the 2nd night!! Flew from Colorado, and my woman decided not to come. Well, she ALWAYS picks BIB, FishH2O, and Ride Me High for the setlist game, and I always tell her that she`ll never get all those in one show. You guys gave it up in one set!!! I was so happy, but could not get up the courage to call her to break the news to her!! Thank you so much for choosing such a great venue!! This was my second trip to the Uptown, and I will NEVER miss another one (neither will she!!!)! Great to see your enthusiasm on stage!! Smiles all around!! That`s the way I want to leave a show, SWEATIN`!! Weekday Panic is the goods!"

"I would like to give my props to George. I thought he kept the "Houser" style better but with that mississippi twang! I loved it and still will love it for the rest of my days. Thank you George for some of the best music in my life! It was my kind of style. Memphis `06 was especially kind.(Dont wanna lose you) OMG!! All George Baby!! Not to belittle jimmy though. He will eventually get even better and better...just like George did. Keep it up boys and remember...New Orleans loves ya!"

"All i can say is that panic deals well with all the curve balls that have been thrown their way. They seem to hit home runs show after show and keep pushing on no matter what. As for Jimmy Herring, what a transition after the first few shows! It sure did not take him much time to blend his unique style and talent and form the good chemistry onstage with the rest of the band. The shows were incredible and i never can get enough. keep pushin on."

"Flew in from SD to visit friends and party with Panic. And oh what a party it was!! Both shows were outstanding. I watched Jimmy Herring play years ago in NY with a band called "Jazz is Dead" and thought he was great then. Now, the guy is simply amazing. You can see that JB and Schools love playing with him. Amazing crowd and band energy. Killer venue! Had a blast with all folks hanging lower left on floor both nights. Thanks Damien for running the "party bus" Good luck with the new establishment! Jeff- "

"Flew in from Seattle for these two incredible shows, purely magical. Both nights were off the hook, second night made it for me, literally had tears, of joy, after that first set. Can`t wait to be back in KC for another show, thanks for a good time."

CoopDoggKC 4/2/2007 8:06:55 AM

"wow....two nights of Panic bliss. i would be hard pressed to decide a better show of the 2, but am seriously still blown away at how much Jimmy fits into the sound. I still praise George for helping to keep this band afloat and running. he did a hard job when the bands future depended on it and we all owe him a ton of gratitude, IMO. however, he did his own signature solos and didnt tap into that houser sound that is so important to many of these songs. Jimmy on the other hand, is able to slip right into the mix and just play. his soft subtle approach and professionalism helps put the sound back on track. he nails the solos and floats effortlessly back into the verse/chorus. there were times at both shows where i found myself screaming, smiling and laughing out loud because of the unity, trust and intensity onstage and the music it garnished. i haven`t felt that at a Panic show in years."

Freerider 4/2/2007 5:00:22 AM

"Whoooooooh, what a ride, this is a awsome time to be a live my brothers, this show has teeth. Keep jamming America. Living Free."

Bailie 4/1/2007 7:04:00 PM

"Made the drive from Colorado to see both shows...the 28th was by far one of the sickest shows I`ve been to. Not only was the energy surging through those dancing in the crowd, but it was flowing freely on stage as the band made faces at each other, joked around, and just had a positive attitude. By the encore, I was blown away with how great of a show it had been and it still wasn`t over yet. They were there to do what they do best...play music and rock hard."

Micki 4/1/2007 6:32:49 PM

"Had a good time."

panicDave 4/1/2007 5:38:41 PM

"Great show, had a blast, also check out the 27th too. Also the 28th was my 28th birthday so got to give Thanks for the Birthday show."
