"amazing show. This band requires close and patient listening but it’s amazingly rewarding if your willing to take the time.Bobby has fully mastered one of the more Unique ways of using the guitar as a voice. He creates percussive content, and a rhythm and lead at the same time. And this is nothing new for Bobby, but he’s Mastered it fully. Plus when you strip the songs down to a trio his guitar becomes even more central and noticeable. The other thing of note is that he’s gotten amazing with using the slide along with playing notes behind the slide picked and slightly altering the phrasing’s with the whammy all at the same time. He then responds to his own phrasing he picked clean with some wammy-slide phrasing as if there are two guitars responding to each other. It’s most unusual and beautiful when you listen to how that syncs with the deep bass from mr. wah and the beautifully precise yet nuanced drumming from jay lane. I love this trio! Can’t wait for live New England shows after pandemic! "
