And we’re back. Jam Cruise set 2 at Black and White lounge. Cool set, with Anna Moss and DJ Williams guesting. Sauerkraut arch nemesis Igor Shitspewsky caught the last 4 or 5 songs of the bands set, but lucky for him the band didn’t know he was there until after the set.
Lunar Dude start with Marty on deck. Ha. Anna Moss joins the band for a beautiful version of Lady in Green. Shanti to continue the nautical theme. Louis passes a disposable camera to the crowd, I’m not sure what happened to it. Fellow Virginian DJ Williams comes up for an ultra funky Checkin’ Out. Maybe the best. Ben and DJ partake in an epic guitar battle. Louis sings his late night disco lunch mango song while the band gets into space out there territory. Maybe a Aphex Twin “Flim” tease in there, unclear. Louis, author of Disco Jam, went to his first disco last night. New single Short Skirt Long Jacket performed in honor of Cake guitarist Greg Brown. Some Kind of Party in Here why not. Louis almost poked his eye out. He’s gotta watch where he puts his fingers. Sauerkraut arrived on the heli pad during Wineglass. South Park theme included. Space is the Place in honor of Colonel Bruce. Hopefully Igor caught some of this one. Brian sings a love song and it’s Porridge. Banana smoothie for breakfast, Bailey’s for lunch, Pina Colada for dinner. That’s a BBC. Wasted ending is sweet. Brian staying up past his bedtime. Louis replaces some Mary & Meggo lyrics with sunrise kickball and the like. Even on the bass you can get high. Sauerkraut has arrived. They flew in on their helicopter just for Jam Cruise.
