"Confrontation, while not long, is remarkably locked, and breaks through to interesting-space-for-thinking beginning around 6min mark. Mags could have settled into the deep Detroit key hues he underlays at that time stamp, and stretched the Airsong inflected jam longer before completing song transition. Though band's clearly feeling themselves in AS with hoots n hollers, version is a perfunctory rock'out."

"Pretty close to achieving bnoring's "classic Disco Biscuits show" distinction (aka 4 stars) but just missing the mark. The first set is one long crazy jam with the band sounding like they are ready to explode on the two versions of "King of the World". This is a pretty hard set for even a seasoned listener to decipher with the individual pieces going in so many different directions and tempos. Overall though I like the more laid back second set with the band dropping some obscure numbers like "Meditation", "Air Song" and my favorite "Papercut". Great sound as well however the first five minutes of the first set is from an audience recording, and there is a few crackles in the second set...but now I'm just being picky. "
