"My first show! 16 years ago today. What a strange and jarring experience it was for 20yo me in 2008. I didn’t know any of their songs and they just kept taking off for 30 at a time. If they didn’t play the Safety Dance KITNO covers I wouldn’t have been able to tell you whether they played one 3.5 hour song or 100 songs, one into the next and so on. Set was scheduled for 2 hours but they kept at it until the next day’s sun began to brighten the edges of the grass fields. ?????? 28 minute Basis! ?????? Possibly the best performance of Ladies to date (my opinion but c’mon, check out Barber’s flawless 6min climbing improv solo… gogoPowerRangers ???? I was taken aback. Accosted. Weathered and altered… their sound was just so intensely different and unfamiliar and odd to me at that era of my musical disovery. I was 100% sober from a chemistry perspective but my 20yo-youngster-brain took a turbulent thrashing, anyway. No escape. "

"A much talked about show here, in fact the livedownloads.com page for this has four pages of comments. Plus one of the few Bisco shows you can buy on iTunes. A smokin' set as well made all the nicer by excellent pro sound quality. The band took the stage around 2 a.m. and played until the sun was coming up. One of the few times the band get that perfect balance between their more electronic sounding studio recordings and their live show, so if you looking for a good example of their livetronica sound you found it here. Seems petty to complain but the only reason I'm not giving this four stars is the covers of "The Safety Dance" and "Killing in the Name", I've never been a fan of the bands covers and I think this set would been stronger without them. Otherwise a great three hour show performed with no breaks! "

"tiesto was three times as packed on the other side of the festival grounds, and it was raining hard, everyone was wet, no room to dance, and it smelled bad over there. but switching to bisco at 2am was a breath of extremely fresh air. i got confused during the nughuffer story. i got sort of paranoid cause i couldn't figure out if it was real, and i kept losing track of what he was talking about. i would laugh a little and then get nervous and scratch my head and then laugh again. i remember thinking "these guys know exactly how obscenely messed up my mind is right now, so they know what to say to mess it up even more"."

"At long last, a recording from the Disco Biscuits that is highly listenable. Most of the recordings I have downloaded have been of such low quality that I can hardly bear listening to them. I had almost given up purchasing new live shows. But for some reason, still unbeknownst to me, this recording is well balanced and clear. I can only hope that more of this caliber are soon to come."
