"Great show despite the lack of attendance (maybe 50 people). Couldnt believe that no one was there! Steve is the man, they all put on a solid performance. Melvin's playing was soulful as usual. Stella Blue still sends shivers up and down the old spinal chord. "

"I was at this show watching Steve hit every note, and I obviously had to have it on CD. Tunes like While We Wait that didn't get played that frequently with the SKB are getting more playtime, which is fantastic. Steve was really enjoying the lap steel on this night (While We Wait, Why Can't We All Just Samba, Stella Blue). Overall, I don't care for the bluesy tracks quite as much but this show gets 5 stars in my book for genius lap steel playing. PS- Steve Kimock's son is a pretty good drummer."
