"Set one comes flying out of the gates and doesn’t even come close to landing until set break. Absolute rager to start the show and gets the night going into monster momentum. Set 2 comes out strong but regrettably loses me, hard, jamming into WIC. Disappointing bc I do like WIC, but the jam into it felt limp and Freeze stumbled into the back end of the set. If this show had a more patient end to S2 it could be show of the year but WIC > Freeze kinda kills it for me. Charlottesville on 10/30 had a much stronger second set and more old school vibe, but I have to say S1 here carries this show to the front"

"This is a fantastic show, start to finish. Was at the show and it was a throw down, recording holds up. Impressive display. This will be a contender for show of the year. It’s up there with 3/12 for me. Not a huge fan of WIC and freeze, but going into wic was cool, almost a shimmy vibe, no real jam into freeze. They did the dead cover was justice and was a pleasant surprise to cap of a heavy hitting show! "

"Heater here folks. Was at the show and it was a classic VA throw down...Nothing left in the tank walking out of that place. They waste no time with the Crystal ball jam into abyss. In a matter of minutes into the show you are thrown into a portal flying into the great abyss. The tone was set, the band and crowd knew where this was going, outer fucking space. The first set is very very good. And they come out and just play and incredibly blissed out Astro. The stro > wormhole > confrontation > is just….wow. The two new songs that follow are ok, just not my cup of tea, and no real jam between WIC and freeze. Freeze into astro is solid. They do the encore justice and it was a nice surprise to cap off a helluva show."
