"This was one of the best shows that I can remember! The last night was so fun, the song selection was great... the vibe was totally there. Thanks you guys and Im glad I was able to make it to one of the last shows. Camp Zoe is the place you can let loose with no worries! See some of you 2008 May, I only wish it was the whole SCI package... Truly Unforgetable Experience!"

"While I must say this was one of the greatest festivals I`ve ever been to, and all three sets of music were amazing, but I have to agree with Encore. I feel they could`ve have closed Sunday`s show with something a bit more intense. Sitting on Top of the World is a good song mid-set, but not a song to close an amazing weekend with. I was expecting a classic like Texas or Jellyfish, even a Best Feeling would`ve been nice. Still, I had a great time, and can`t wait for them to get back together next year??? "

"All I got to say is WEAK WEAK WEAK Encore... that was not the way to end a magical weekend! The Seventh Step was nice but just a killer ending liek we all were hoping for at ZOE.... im sure everyone there left thinking....WTF???? That It?"

Rolla` 8/19/2007 12:22:49 AM

"Did anyone else notice a water theme throughout the weekend? Sometimes a River, Down by the River, Rain, etc."

"Well ladies and gentlmen these 3 shows are the best i have seen and I have seen alot and heard alot also. I don`t know why Cheese never played here before, it was such a wonderful and magical place and time. The raw energy of everybody there was unreal there isn`t enough words out there to describe it except everybody TOTALLY KICKEDASS!! I also want thank the Cheese for all the wonderful years of music. Hopefully i cross my fingers it won`t be the last because i don`t know what i will do with myself now. Again thanks ffor everthing!!!!"

"the last night of the 3 shows, i was all the way in the back, out of the dust bowl. bad allergies. I was standing there just looking up at the stars and noticing that we were just in an opening in the vast forest of the ozarks. Cheese was throwing down a hard core looking glass. Fucking Amazing. Brought back chills from the past. I can say that after seeing Jerry on the cliff, he was definately in the house for night 3. Magic was in the air. Thanks for a real good time"

"By sunday at camp zoe everyone was obviously pretty exhausted and the boys knew that they had to crank it up a notch to keep everyone going and thats exactly what they did. Set 1 will probally go down as my favorite single set of cheese i`ve ever seen. When a show starts off with c.a.y.a. you know its gonna be a hot one. After c.a.y.a the boys dropped straight into galactic and me and my friends looked at each other with surprise cause we all knew it was really early in the show to drop galactic but we wern`t complaining. At the show galactic seemed unfinished and we all thought they`d go back into it later in the show but they never did then we all conluded they were probally gonna finish it at the rocks. after the short galctic kyle sang people say by the meters which was a first timer and really cool to hear. People say went straight into smile and even though i love this song i wasn`t super excited since i`d heard alot of smiles as of late but it was still sweet. After smile came COTTONMOUTH, and i got super excited because i`d never gotten to here it live but love the song, it was short and sweet and was followed by favorite bust out moment of the night THE ROAD HOME. OH FUCK YES, I couldn`t believethey were playing it because the road home is one of the first cheese songs i ever heard and had snuck into my top 3 songs i wanted to here before it was all over and i got one. Then came looking glass which is another personal fave of mine so at this point i was on cloud 9 and the show was already made for me but it just kept coming. Drew emmit came out and played electric guitar and sang lead for a really slow tripped out version of when the levee breaks, which was the shit. I thougt it was real cool he played electric guitar for this song cause all the other versions i had heard he was on mandolin so it was really cool. The boys from yonder came out to finish the set with steam powered aeroplaine and when it was done I looked at my friends and said "HOLY SHIT THAT WAS THE BEST SET OF THE ENTIRE WEEKEND" they all agreed. Then came set 2.Holy fucking SHANTYTOWN, going into bsc this was the number 1 song me and my commrades wanted to here and they fucking killed it, at this point we could of all gone home happy. Then came pirates which was awsome to here cause it had been almost been about 2 years since my last one and it was awsome. from there at least for about 3 songs things slowed down a bit eneregy wise at least for me with piece of mine, it is what it is and rain. None of these 3 are songs that I really like but it was cool cause they still played them really well. Things picked back up with The Joker and billy running around the stage got everyone hyped up. Desert Dawn was a good way to finish up the set and had a pretty decent jam in it. The encore started off with kyle`s seventh step which was another first timer for me so it was really cool. s.o.t.o.t.w. closed out what was one of the best weekends of music i had ever witnessed and a vey special weekend of cheese at the beautiful camp ZOE"

"What a great weekend. Between the energy on stage and the energy in the crowd this was one the best three days of music i have ever witnessed. Not to mention the collaborations with Drew Emmit and the boys from Yonder. Thanks for all the good times... "

Kyle 8/8/2007 10:59:35 PM

"All three nights were great and it`s hard for me to pick my favorite. The energy just got more intense each night and the boys never let up. I was suprized that they didn`t through in a Texas or Jellyfish to finish off a great three day run but SOTOTW was great. I knew that IIWII and Desert Dawn were coming and they rocked both of them. The Joker will go down as my favorite moment with Cheese, everyone who was there knows what I mean. My favorite set of the weekend was the second set of the second night. I never thought that I would hear a better Outside and Inside than last Thanksgiving at the Fox but it I might have that set. If you are only buying one night, get the second night."

Bob Digi 8/8/2007 2:26:28 PM

"SHANTYTOWN!!!!!"

jj 8/8/2007 2:13:28 PM

"BEST THREE DAY RUN EVER. I’m very disappointed that I can not make the final shows at Red Rocks, but I knew what happens when the boys get in deep in the woods for a hoedown. Luckily I was right on target and the boys brought it harder than ever as they delivered all three nights at the BIG SUMMER CLASSIC. With a loose time table, no noise ordinances, or other venue distraction to deal with all the boys had to do was to get there and play for the faithful. That said the hard cores that made the day + long trip to the Africa Hot CAMP ZOE were treated to a plethora of tasty tunes in a fantastic setting! There were fine musical collaborations all weekend and there was a great vibe everywhere. Things just ran smooth like the river running thought the camp grounds. The sound system for once cooperated and stopped that annoying buzz that has plagued so many of shows (seriously this was the most annoying part of the final tour) and lighting guy certainly found what he was looking for before it all started. I LOVED hearing Sittin On Top Of The World as my last song because that is exactly how THE STRING CHEESE INCIDENT makes me feel when it all working together. Like someone said below I will miss this sound because nothing is like it. The songs words and music create a sound that has a life of its’ own and hearing it deep in the woods on the bands terms was the way to go out BIG! REALLY BIG! Thanks again for all the love and fun the band has brought me over the years. Like the words say in Rhythm Of The Road “ if we can keep the faith things will work out in time” so we can do it again and again! Peace well wishes to band and all my friends on the road. jj "

"Damn.............that`s all I can say. Shanty, Levee, Seventh Step, Desert Dawn, Yo Se, Pirates, Black Market, Howard, Looking Glass, Galactic, Steam Powered Aeroplane, Cottonmouth, Wake Up, Climb, Johnny Cash......ouch. This may be the best 3 day run ever. It hurts to know that I missed these shows. Seriously, I`m hurting. Why did they save all of the fatties for Camp Zoe? If I knew they were going to play these songs, I would have skipped Horning`s and paid top dollar to see these shows. "

keepitcheesypleesy 8/8/2007 10:02:54 AM

"What a great weekend, I think the only real disappointment was the encore on Sunday night. I was just scratching my head after that. Send me out on a rager! "

Well well well 8/7/2007 9:38:29 AM

"Not much I can say about this set...... was the shit when i was there... but not so great when i look back at it... deffeiently not nearly as good as the other night sfor sure....e 5 minute galactic, 12 minute shantytown... whast up with that... And also by far the weakest encore they could have given zoe for the last night there.... man o man.... left the stage disapointed after that one... but not the other nights.... was good to hear come as you are, as i have been waiting a while to hear that one.... highlights are the song was when the leaves break.. cottonmouth was the shit and hte looking glass was smoking.... was a big fan of the second set.. could have went without seeinf IIWII and Desert Dawn... figured they would ahev through in a texas or jellyfish there insetd of one of thoese... Desert Dawn was a weak set ender.... and of course piece of mine.... no one ever wants to hear that song... well good job boys.... the festival was awesom... will never forget it at all"
