" My humble opinion is that any set that includes "Up all night", "Richard Manuel", and "Murder" is anything but sad! Hate I missed this one. Went to the Raleigh show instead."

Joelie 8/7/2008 2:26:06 PM

"All of the songs played in Charlotte are great, but A Murder of One is especially wonderful. I get shivers and can't stop calling boys orangutans. The energy from the song transfers directly into my ears and there is pretty much nothing better in this world. :)"

Pret 8/6/2008 3:39:28 PM

"Fantastic performance. The live tracks are amazing. Well worth buying. Can't wait to see the band in the UK."

Grant 8/5/2008 10:28:01 PM

"It was great Serenity...they are such a great band that the songs they played at Montage (Scranton) were greatly performed...I don't know...I wanted to ROCK that night....that's my ONLY dissappointment...the Raleigh setlist was great...right up to "Walkaways"...though we got "Long December" so kind of a good deal there..."

Serenity 8/5/2008 10:36:50 AM

"I was actually at this show and although it was great, I would have really enjoyed the set list from the Raleigh show better"

Grant 8/4/2008 11:15:22 PM

"wasn't at Charlotte...wish they would have played this set at Montage...Especially "Angels" and "Murder of One"...jesus...I know NE PA is not a NYC or Philly...but we are hardcore rock fans here..."

Tara 8/4/2008 8:42:41 AM

"This show was unbelieveable! It might have to rate it as best ever!! And I have seen then 6 times. It was great to see all that passion reborn."

Tina 8/4/2008 6:40:39 AM

"The Counting Crows show was Excellent! You could tell that Adam was singing straight from his heart and soul. This was the third time that I have seen them and it's great every time! I have pictures of the band close up-due to being on the first row,and the song list from the first show that I went to. I hope that they will come back soon and play more songs. The Rain King is my favorite. Thanks for playing that Adam! Hey, the rain came too!. :) How appropriate..."

delbell1 8/3/2008 7:19:09 PM

"Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More than I could have ever hoped for. Felt bad for Adam since he he had a leg isssue but it did not affect the performance. Maroon 5 had a good show but we all know that every song they do sounds just like every song they do!!! I had such a great time and I would reccomend this show to all Crows fans!"

Patrick 8/3/2008 4:39:02 PM

"So stoked to download these new live shows - sweet. I totally totally agree with Sam and I'm a bigtime CC fan. cheers!"

Andrew Palazzo 8/3/2008 3:30:13 PM

"Thanks for the free MP3 of the Charlotte show. My son and I (whom I named after Adam in 1996) listened to it on our way to the show on August 2nd in Mansfield, MA (Boston). It was a once of a lifetime experience. Adam's favorite is Maroon 5, while I have worshipped the Crows for the last 15 yrs. The show rocked! We had the time of our lives and can't wait for the show to be on here so we can have it forever! Both bands kicked a** as advertised and Sara Barielles was a pleasent surprise as well. Keep on rockin' and thanks for a night neither one of us will ever forget."

Sam 8/3/2008 11:23:51 AM

"Ditch the co-headlining tours. You're much too good of a band to only be playing 14 songs a show and sharing the stage with others. I can't wait til you start touring alone. May I suggest next summer?"

crystal! 8/3/2008 10:07:35 AM

"this was a great show! and i had the best luck ever, as adam stayed at our hotel, and we ran right into him before the show! this must have been right before the ankle injury....still adam injured is sooo much better than any other band in perfect health! it was sort of a sad set of songs, maybe the injury effected the mood of the evening.... but it was great! more holiday in spain, ive never heard it live, maybe next tour?? :)"

smygirl 8/2/2008 6:11:20 PM

"This was my 3rd Counting Crows live show since 2000 and it was amazing as always!! Adam was amazing despite the ankle injury - he did not back down, gave 200% - he really sacrificed his body for this one! We loved the unique set list - come on, Walkaways! Who would have expected that!?! It was amazing from start to finish :)"

Wcrjrs 8/2/2008 5:49:29 PM

"I haven't seen the boys live a ton (Once each on the Satellites tour, TDL tour, Hard Candy tour and this show) but this show was excellent. One of the reasons I love the Crows is that they don't play shows that sound like a greatest hits CD - and this show doesn't disappoint. I'm sure Adam's foot felt like hamburger the next morning, but how can you beat hearing Speedway, Up All Night, AMO1 and Walkaways in the same show? Thanks guys - you never disappoint!"

kpl164 8/2/2008 4:36:43 PM

"I was at the show and it was great. The only drawback was the split headliner making the crows set short. No offense to Maroon 5 or their fans, but I am a huge crows fan and it disappoints me that they have to play less. The end of the concert did have excellent timing. All the lightning moving in and you knew the rain was getting closer and closer. Adam wraped it up and I had just enough time to get back to my car and then it started pouring. PS: Adam on stage with a cane is still a lot better then a lot of bands out there."

Awks 8/2/2008 1:16:22 PM

"Thanks, top quality tunes. Band sound superb live. saw them at Hyde Park and looking forward to Cardiff in December!!"

Mark 8/2/2008 12:02:29 PM

"UP ALL NIGHT!!!! I have been a huge Counting Crows Fan forever - but I have always been waiting for UP ALL NIGHT - YOU NEED TO PLAY THAT MORE - I'm seeing you guys twice this summer - Milwaukee and Camden NJ - I gotta hear it live!"

jaco 8/2/2008 9:41:29 AM

"Thank you so much Counting Crows!!!!! Can't wait to see you in a little more than a month. This MP3 download was a great idea and its a nice little taste of what the show might be like although with the Crows you never know what to expect there are so many great songs! "

jhight 8/2/2008 8:14:31 AM

"Wow! What a nice treat and a great idea! These live tracks rocked! I wish I was able to afford tickets to take my family to see Counting Crows in San Diego. I was able to see CC for a 2nd time with the Goo Goo Dolls opening and had 5th row up front. I have seen Sting, Paul McArtney, U2, Aerosmith, and REM but that was the best. They are a TRUE live rock band. Honest, raw, and full of energy - just like you want from a live band. Adam is a true soul connecting with the audience. Keep it up!"

gary 8/2/2008 7:00:48 AM

"wow u never play up all night!!!! finally"

Tom 8/2/2008 6:51:22 AM

"It's nice to hear a show that contains the warmth and depth, even in MP3, of a intimate small venue setting. Having been to many shows and part of the trader network of live shows for close to a decade, the fidelity of a soundboard sourced shows is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise smoke filled room. I have a degree in digital recording and editing while working for local 18 Stage Hands in Milwaukee WI. I appreciate the time investment that Bruce and the rest of the Touring Sound crew have contributed over the years. I have worked all of the shows through the Marcus Amphitheater since the summer of 2000. This boot is another example of their hard work ensuring that us, the fans, have an enjoyable aural experience at all of Counting Crows shows. Now with LIVECC, we can relive those favorite experiences or ones we wished we had. This Charlotte show is no exception. Thanks again to everyone at cc.com, LiveCC, the touring crew, and especially the Band. You keep us excited and energized wanting more, and now we have it. I look forward to you Milwaukee Show! See you soon. Tom"

Randy 8/2/2008 6:38:58 AM

"Very nice show, I wish they toured by themselves more! I'd rather hear a whole night of them, instead of sharing the evening with another band. Thank you for the download - but why only 128kbps???? Please allow the free download at a higher bitrate if you'd like us to keep it! "

Elizabeth 8/2/2008 6:06:46 AM

"Man, I love this version of Murder of One...it's just...so...soulful? No, dunno if thats the right word...listen for yourself!"

andrew 8/2/2008 4:16:40 AM

"what a great setlist! the band rocked it that night i wish i could've been there to hear those songs! This show sounded great! Keep it up CC!"

ccharlie 8/2/2008 3:08:43 AM

"This way leuke new site, and this way we but busy with this fantastic band… I love of these band, the best band remain ever!"

Janel 8/2/2008 2:13:18 AM

"This is so great! i've listened to a few tracks and they sound amazing. i'm really glad they did the show of new songs as the new cd isn't really available here yet. this is my new favourite site :-)"

Elizabeth 8/2/2008 2:03:08 AM

"Got to love the band...just sad that you cant really hear the crowd singing with (and i know they do sing with)but yeah, hope his heel / foot / ankle heals soon (at least it's not his voice!!!!!)"

TheOtherOne79 8/2/2008 12:52:10 AM

"Just finished listening to this and it's a good show, not a great show but good enough that if it wasn't free I woulda still gladly paid for it. Highlight of the concert in my opinion would have to be Murder of One. Also at the end of the show Adam mentions that they made a point to make a setlist of stuff they haven't played yet on this tour so the concert gets extra originality points for that. 7/10 "
