Metallica

This was a secret show at an unannounced location that took place during the San Diego Comic-Con.  Metallica were at Comic-Con to promote their 3D film Metallica Through the Never.

 

This was the first time in over four years that Metallica played in San Diego.

 

This was the first time in almost nine years that "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" was performed in San Diego.

 

This was the first time in a year that "Last Caress" was played.  The Misfits classic has only been performed 10 times since 2010.

 

Metallica performed 13 songs off of six albums and one movie soundtrack: Kill 'Em All (1), Ride the Lightning (3), Master of Puppets (2), ...And Justice for All (2), The Black Album (3), Reload (1) and Garage Inc. (1)
