"I was there front row balcony. My number one artist of all-time is Jimi Hendrix. My most seen artist are the Brothers and all the close related combos and iterations. From ABB, Dickey and Great Southern, The Mule, Butch's Freight Train, The Greg Allman Band, The Derek Trucks Band, Sea Level, The Warren Haynes Band. I had seen them all.... When The Allman Brothers Band at this Beacon show played Mountain Jam and hit the first bar of "In 1983 A Merman I shall Be" one of my favorite Jimi masterpieces sandwiched so perfectly in the middle of Mountain Jam, It became a gift from a higher power. You just can't maker that up, nor dream of such."
