An amazing version of Wappy and an 18 minute Cemetery Walk II??!1 are you kidding me? I haven't heard of them doing such a long Cemetery 2 since. I think everyone can agree the Shine On was magical. "I had listened to only a bit of Umphrey's before this performance at All Good. I apparently had no idea what I was in for. I've seen hundreds of bands play including some of the "best live acts on the planet" such as Radiohead. This was absolutely the best set I have ever witnessed. "I first saw Umphrey's at a late night set at All Good 2005. I had no idea who they were, and the next day I had to find my program to see who it was that blew my mind. Since then I have been a huge UM fan, and was excited as hell to see another late night All Good set. Heading to my 5th All Good, this was the show I was most looking forward to. For a 3-hour set, this is about as good as you get. I'm not even all that excited about the setlist, but this is one awesome show. Get it, listen to it, share it to your friends."

"Masontown, WV - All Good Saturday Late Night Set Umphrey’s McGee waited an entire 2 seconds from the end of SOJA's set to unleash the beast upon us for the final 3+ hours of the evening. With very little singing and only one full cover (a few samples/teases of other covers), they took the term high-energy to an entirely new level. Earlier in the day, STS9 took us to the stratosphere. This time Umphrey’s left us floating somewhere near Jupiter. They rarely fell below 140 Beats per minute (BPM), only dropping it down for one cover, a few interludes and masterful piano solos from Joel Cummins. He was so good on the keys, that after one particularly amazing solo, co-frontman Brendan Bayliss asked the audience to join him in shouting “Fuck-You Joel!” The audience complied. Speaking of Brendan, he’s always been a silly-good guitar soloist, fully capable of being the lead guitar in UM if not for Jake Cinninger. He seems to have gotten even better. They opened with “40’s Theme” in which Brendan played the solo, as if to say, “Look how good I am, and just wait till you hear Jake go." Well, Jake went all right, proving his place as the most well-rounded guitar player in the world. He showed his mastery of many styles, from his lightning fast signature solo pieces, to Ingwie Malmsteen-like scale runs, to Eddie Van Halen finger-tapping - even showing Duane Allman-level skill with the slide. Still, every second was pure Jake. With an unimaginable patience, he slowed all the way down to play the long, creeping-pace intro solo to “Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pink Floyd). That was their full cover and it was a real crowd-pleaser, with everyone in the audience singing along. Other cover bites included Norweigian Wood around 140 BPM, Snoop Dog’s “Gz 'n Hustlaz” and an instrumental version of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” that didn’t sounded forced or obligatory one bit. They even got downright satanic, I mean pure Beelzebub, at one point. Scared the crap out of us. When Jake and Brendan get on stage together, they are the most talented and tasteful guitar duo on the planet, with the possible exception of the Allman Brother’s Warren Hayes and Derek Trucks. All in all it was by far the best set of the weekend and the best UM performance I’ve heard in the seven years of going to their shows. "
