But IMO, the magic of Umphrey's is most prevalent in their fall 2004 run. 10/1/04 (Fox Theatre), 10/2/04 (Gothic Theater), 10/30/04 (Aladdin Theatre). After all the UM I've seen and heard, these three shows still stand at the top of my list. Check 'em out. "

"phishphan85 and umphreak01 are right, all those shows they listed are great. the barrymore show is actually 11-3-06. all i am saying is that wappy>bridgeless>the floor is the tightest section of any show this year. not necessarily the best over all show this year. the whole west coast run is good. some of umphreys best shows are played outside of the upper mid-west."

"im not saying how many shows i have in my collection because its way more than 60, i was saying how many shows i have been to. There are much better shows from this year and phishphan85 i was at that first aver run in 2007. awesome. another great show is nye 05-06 as well as nye 07-07, i was at both, very good shows."

"i left the Beasties an hour early to make sure i was right up front for this. i was standing in the front row between Jake and Ryan and 3 hours of nirvana ensued. i've been to 6 UM shows now (i know that's diddly squat compared to some) but this show took the cake. they're energy was amazing and they killed on every jam and just that they played Mulche's Odyessy i was happy let alone that it was the most kick ass version i've ever heard!! a must have in my book and i highly suggest for any UM fan. "Sick set. Before I went to see them I was planning on leaving as soon as STS9 started. When I got to the Sunset Stage, where UM was playing, I was just pulled right to the front of the stage. Needless to say I was an hour late for Tribe. I have been to a few UM shows, but for some reason this one was really unique. Definitely dl Wappy Sprayberry, one of my favorites."

"im sorry but i was very disappointed in this show. i have seen the boys over 20 times so nobody tell me im not an um fan. i was looking forward to this show ever since i saw they were at langerado. their jams went nowhere and they didnt play anything i havent seen a bunch of times. they played all in time 2 shows in a row. they dont have to play that to get the crowd into it. i had much higher expectations."

"This set was great... There was the threat of a major downpour in the Everglades slated to strike at the scheduled UM start time. The clouds managed to hold the rain- but there was no chance of keeping the music at bay. The band rocked a 3 hour set which should be heard by any UM fan who wasn`t able to make the long trek into the swamp. Not long after the band finished their one epic set, the bottom half of the sky fell through and cooled off the glades for the remainder of the weekend. Thanks to my friend Chigger for helping usher this bands music my way... "
