"Stasik clearly introduces the guy as HIS cousin. Listen to the god damn recording ya noob"

"Great Show. Much Obliged has one of the best improvisions i have yet to see out of these guys. Id suggest at least purchasing that. You will flow after the 9th minute."

"one of the best shows this tour"

"haha jesus man let it go. I ended my last comment with "to each his own"...must have missed that there big guy. ;) By me saying most knowledgeable UM fans, I meant the majority of people I`ve talked to have said it was in fact a snoozer, and hey, you loving a mediocre show is cool. Please change your rag and have a good day buddy."

"Ok dude. First off, only a narcissistic dick-hole would try and refute someone else’s OPINION. These are not facts…they’re OPINIONS. Different people look for different things in music. What some would consider “monumental” might not be what YOU would (i.e. your 12/1/07 resolution, which I was present for live, have listened to numerous times on download, and I did not think was a pimple on the ass of this one...but that’s MY opinion). Seriously man…your comment about how “most knowledgeable Umphery’s fans would agree…” is about the most immature, 3rd grade, lame ass thing a person could say. Did you poll these self proclaimed knowledgeable fans, or are they in your after school club? Or do you all just sit around smoking pot, making nothing of your lives, claiming to be the fucking Simon Cowells of UM. Get some perspective man. Learn to respect other’s opinions and realize that yours is not the end-all-be-all. And by they way, I have been to 42 shows. Maybe that doesn’t qualify me for your loser “knowledgeable” fan club, but I think qualifies me to have some points of reference to post a review that might be of some use to someone who realizes that there is a world outside of himself."

"any set with 8 minutes of morning song is not monumental. definate snoozer."

    Todd 4/12/2008 11:34:27 AM

"Dude please listen to 12.1.07`s reso then get back to me. you are fluffing the hell out of this show. Monumental?? Get real. Was this your first UM show?? Like I said, and most knowledgeable UM fans will agree with me, that the 1st set was nothing special. But hey, to each his own."

"I rarely post comments about other people`s opinions on here because I respect that everyone is entitled to their own. But I will say that I strongly disagree with the post by Todd that state the first set was "pretty standard" except for "a few highlights." I listen to A LOT of Umphrey`s - probably TOO much - and I am also pretty critical of them. I will tell you that in THIS listeners opinion, the resolution and the much obliged in the first set are nothing short of monumental. WAY, WAY above average. Some of the best jams I have heard them get into to date...in my opinion, of course. Yes - the second set`s ITK>higgings>ITK is amazing too, as well as the jajunk encore are pretty huge too. But I have to say that those highlights alone made this show one of my favorite downloads of 2008 so far. I wish we could somehow make Umphrey`s McGee music an element on the periodic table, and them make molecules of it and spray it into the air over Iraq and Afghanistan so they would all stop blowing themselves up and just fucking dance and party and forget their stupid fanatical ideologies altogether. Those in favor say "HERE HERE." I am so grateful that this band is in existence. They are in a league of their own - and like was pointed out earlier - a once in a lifetime combination of talent. Get this show....and take some Immodiom beforehand because you are likely to shit your pants somewhere around the 9 minute mark of the much obliged. Thank you. That is all."

"HBD KRIS!!! Hope you enjoyed the birthday card!!! STELLAR SHOW, you all just get better and better. You must have special asbestos shoes to keep from lighting the stage on fire!!!"

    Todd 4/10/2008 1:02:15 PM

"Well I definitely wouldn`t go as far as saying it`s the best UM show you could hope for, but it was definitely a good time. The first set had a few highlights but it was pretty standard (awesome still, but I`ve seen better). That 2nd set was a lot better with the itk dance party. Maybe it was the fact that the shows prior to the 5th they had absolutely slaughtered the South and the songs left to play were ones I wasn`t wanting to hear. This is probably the weakest of the April shows for sure, and I`m glad as hell I went to that Tues in Dekalb. Now THAT is a rock show. I give this one 3.5/5"

    Trevor 4/10/2008 7:59:26 AM

"This was the second time I have seen UM. I will never forget the feeling I got the first time when I was shocked that a band with so many individuals could be so tight. This time it was even better. This was hands down the best live show you could ever hope to see. A band like this only comes once in a lifetime...so don`t them!!"

    Dan 4/7/2008 9:56:11 PM

"This was my first UM show and I was totally blown away. I did not know really anything about the band, but was told by many people I NEED to see them. I grabbed a copy of Anchor Drops and bought a ticket. The only songs I knew really were In The Kitchen, Higgins, and JaJunk (which I loved)....... and lucky me. The entire second set was a godsend for me. Then the encore. My friends and I went crazy. Also, I don`t know if anyone has mentioned it, but when they played Black Hole Sun, my friends all turned and me and said "What the hell, is this Soundgarden cover?!? This is AWESOME" My friends favorite part of the night besides the encore. The fact that it was the drummer`s (Kris?) just made it that much better. Singing Happy Birthday to him and then having him sing Black Hole Sun was amazing. Not to mention the guest guitarist on Little Wing. So sweet!"

"That show was so kickass, i was so blown away. I would have to say it edged last years show in St Louis, but These guys are so creative and good, that it seems like every show can be held on its own in comparison. I love what UM does by changing it up and challenging themselves each night, leaving it all on the stage. I had such a good time on Saturday, Thank You UM!"

    SawyerLisk 4/7/2008 7:47:16 PM

"Definatly one of the better Umph shows i`ve been to. The second set was out of control. Definatly better than last years show at the pageant on the exact same day."

    thehamma 4/7/2008 11:29:07 AM

"KIckASS Show!! From start to finish. Jake went into robot mode w/ the quickness and I knew it was on. Highlights were definitely the entire second set, but the first set was no disappointment either. Thanks umphrey`s once again."
