"This show was incredible, what a heater! I've been to many Billy Strings shows over the years since 2017. This is one I can't put away 2 years (and many, many tours/shows) later. It's worth highlighting for a few reasons. Fiddle player Alex Hargeaves was a local sit-in for this show before joining as a full-time band member almost a full one year later. Hargreaves lived in the local PDX area at the time. I like to think this is the night where Hargreaves proved to the boys that he is a fiddle titan that deserves to share the stage forever with the band and join them in their ascent into the stratosphere. Banjo player Billy Failing is also a PDX local and had many of his friends and family in the crowd. These boys came to play this evening, pure heat and magic. Exceptional all-around performances from each individual musician. They fed off one another all night long, shared the stage equally as a cohesive unit, and had the time of their lives. You can feel the energy and excitement in every number this evening. Highlights are the Red Rocking Chair, probably one of the band's best versions played to date. Also, don't miss the So Many Miles>Reuben's Train>So Many Miles. Save those numbers on your go-to Billy Strings playlist, you won't be disappointed. This evening run deserves a place out of the vault and should be up there on the top shelf with the band's all-time greatest runs. Much love."
